Posting Attachments I was wondering why some members have the ability to post images directly to the forum and others (like me) do not. Do I need special permission from the moderators to post? If so, how do I get it? |

They look like this: [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] (get rid of the spaces though) There's also a nice little button on each post you make that looks like a mountain (with a yellow backround) that simply lets you put in a URL, and bang! you got a picture on your post. Here's an example: __________________ In the MGS FC's I am Psycho Mantis! "Put your controller on the floor...Put it down as flat as you can...That's good. Now I will move your controller by the power of my will alone!" |

Thanks, MM, I know that I can add a link to an image using the "mountain" icon. My question related to uploading images stored only on my computer. I'll try the image tags and see what happens, but I'm not clear from your post on whether they work for stuff that's stored on my computer. Thanks again. |

Hi TheMM, I've had a problem with my post at this link: http://www.musclegrowth.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=10265 I used the image tags, and at first the images appeared, but now they're just links. The images are hosted at tinypic. Clearly, I'm doing something wrong... but what? Cheers, divis24 |

You can visit a site such as http://www.imageshack.us/ which will allow you to load images from your computer using your web browser. Once you upload your file, the ImageShack website will present you with a web address of your uploaded image which you can copy and paste into the IMG tags in your posts on the forum. |

Thanks, flexodus! I was looking for a way to do that, too; soon after I posted it I realized it would be better elsewhere. Cheers, divis24 |
