Supersize Me

This is probably a film about what you don't need to grow. Has anyone else seen it?

I was completely shocked at the segment detailing how school lunch programs are being run.

Wink It was an Eye-Opening Film

I couldn't believe the stuff about the school lunches. But then again, it wasn't that long ago that I was in high school, and I remember people eating Little Debbie snacks and drinking a couple cokes for lunch. At the time, of course, I thought nothing of it. Looking back, and in light of the movie, I see how terrible that truly is to do day after day. It was inspiring when they showed that one school that operates with only healthy lunches. I wish more were like that.

Wasn't it shocking how much weight he gained in a week? I was floored. I loved his nutritionist though, she cracked me up. Practically begging him to stop drinking the shakes, and just drink the water. I bet he never expected what he got out of his experiment, and neither did his doctors. I think everyone should see this film.

Better Health Care Needed

I liked the idea that he visited the nutritionist as well as (3) physicians.

The type of feedback and testing provided by that site is the type of proactive healthcare assessment that should be covered by insurance. Much better than waiting for things to go downhill and then 'maintain' them.

Frozen Debbie

I've been trying to see Supersize Me! , but I haven't had any time with work. I have to see lots of really bad movies with my job, but I rarely get to see the good ones.
One thing to note is that it is an indi film, so you will probably have to go to an art-house to see it.

As for Little Debbies, yum! I almost never have them, but when I do, I love them frozen. Unlike real food, those mind-control agents are much more delicious frozen.
