Hmm, I can only say that yes, I've heard of it. But no I haven't been a regular watcher. But maybe a couple of the guys come from that arts direction.

On a separate note, I was watching Car and Driver a few minutes ago and had one of those epiphany moments: the feature was about a high school mechanics challenge, they showed the kids working on the cars, etc. But then, it hit me that one of the kids had a full fledged beard!! (no, not one of those scraggly- just barely filled in beards- this was thick and well trimmed)

Is it just me or aren't teenagers supposed to only just be getting light beard growth at that stage? I remember when it was a surprise for a guy to have a few chin hairs at that point. Guess I must be a bit jealous, I had trouble growing facial hair.

I read an article a while back which mentioned that today's youth are simply entering puberty at an earlier age than previous generations.

DJ_Muscle: As for Classic Arts Showcase, I have seen it before through my local public access station. I believe Classic Arts Showcase is a public domain satellite channel, so many public access or public television stations throughout the country sometimes carry it.

i LOOOOOOVE...

...classic arts showcase!high art in bite-size chunks!if you don't like what's on now;wait 3 minutes.kind of like Bugs Bunny.they are commercial-free.that's ok,but i think they're missing a big opportunity.the tourism boards of every country in Europe..."every piece of classical music your family will ever need on 3 cd's"...(in case you're not familiar,it's kind of a classical MTV)

I watch a lot of CAS too. It's very healthy for the brain.

Right now they're showing Harpo Marx playing the Harp. Weird, huh?

I didn't know that watching TV was good for the brain! I must be a genius then!
