Expander

There used to be a guy on the Internet who went by the name Expander. He did a lot of good work and I wondered if anyone knew where he went or where any of his work could be found? Just thought I would ask. Thanks!

Oh, I know I've downloaded a collection of a lot of his stuff from some yahoo group or another...wish I could be more helpful, but I'm sure someone else will step up to fill in the gaps for you.

Never heard of him. If you have his stuff, would it be forbidden to copy and paste it on the board, giving him full credit, of course.

Then I'll try to find out if I still have them (which I more than likely do) and where they are on my computer. I have no idea if we can copy and paste them to the board, but I should at least be able to share them with curious members via email and IM conversations.

In fact, I could even look through my yahoo groups and see if I can figure out which one had the file(s) posted. Then I can see if I can get in contact with Expander, himself, or find out if anyone knows what became of him.

What's really funny is that, possibly because I've read so many stories, is that I don't even remember if I liked these! I'm sure that they must give at least some people a turn on for them to be preserved on a webgroup, though.

I use to know the yahoo group, but I lost it, he had some good stories along with some other ppl. If I find the yahoo group again i'll let you know.

But then again, it really wasnt a yahoo group is more of archive of stories

Edit: I found his site, but its not active/avaiable to view anymore

Well, thanks for the info. It's to bad that site isn't up anymore. Could the stories be emailed or IM'ed? Thanks for your help! He did start with a site and then I think he moved to a yahoo group or something. I am not for sure though.

Ok, I'll start the search and all will be well.
I am so sure I've downloaded them.....and I think I know exactly where to look, too.

EDIT: I found'em, y'all! Hrm...I should try emailing some of these guys...

I found them, but i've been away from home, computer, and internet for a couple of weeks. I"m going to be going away for a couple more days then I'll be back for real for at least a while. I doubt I'll be able to send the stories to people tonight (seeing as how I'm leaving again in the morning), but I swear I shall commence mass-story propagation the moment I return!
