| Grammer Police... "Spammer on the loose!" (I make the same mix up between lose and loose online all the time while typing as well) But yes they will lose, mwahhahaha. I've been knocking them down as they come up - seems that today is lets go to Spamalot. We are the knights of... I need my meds. | What makes these more annoying, is that they aren't "bots," or spammers that are controlled by machines and programs. All they did was auto-type their message in one section for those of you who remember. These guys, are certainly human to post so damn many messages, that, or the programs have been improved, which isn't good of course. __________________ In the MGS FC's I am Psycho Mantis! | Thank goodness they?ve been removed from the Muscle Growth section, but there are still remnants in Surveys and Polls, Main Off-Topic Board, News & Current Events. These idiots need to be stopped. Hope Webmaster can surmount the perps and better protect the site. Mike |

| Flex has put some features on the site that have made it pretty peaceful for quite some time...I will be in talks with him to see what went awry and if there is a means to upgrade what we got, as it appears whatever methods these people with spam bots use are getting better. I killed all the ones in the poll section...several of them appeared to have the same IP address for a few of the names. One of the upgrades is a way to block the actual IP address, so hopefully the worst of it is over. Thanks phil for pointing out the forums that had the spam...I even ran across one where a member of the board had put down another...something we have a zero tolerance for here. | Got em all for now. We are currently working on other options, up to and including Moderators approving memberships from now on. Granted, people will not be able to post right away, but it is the cost we will unfortunately have to pay.
