unwanted growth

Hi guys! I haven't posted here in a while...or much.

Anyway, I've become very interested lately in the concept of growth that isn't wanted by the guy growing. I mean, I would find it hard to believe that any guy would dislike some growth, but it's just a concept that is a real turn on for me.

Anyone know of any stories like this? or in the process of writing a story and want to go in this direction?

Well it sounds crazy but I would actually hate growing huge. I like to be normal, not be in the gym all day, eat mostly what ever I want. So I do understand that concept of this perfectly, I actually had a story in mind a while ago about this but dismissed it.

If anyone wants to write it, here it is

Its a story called temptation. Basically a teen figures out he can grow on command after he hits puberty, but he soon learns each time he grows, the harder it is to stop. To make sure he can live a normal life he stops growing at around 250 pounds and stays that way until senior year.. The football team isn't doing so well and the temptation and desire to grow is getting to him. Also I had an idea where one of his friends know's about his abilities and pushes him more and more to do it.

So thats the story.. of course you could always just do a random story where a geek falls into some stuff and then he grows bigger and bigger by the day and can't stop! or Forced growth by machine.. dad drugging his son, so he'll be the man he always wanted to be.. Stuff like that haha

I actually like the sound of the temptation premise... it seems to have a lot of potential to explore the human psyche.

Interesting idea. I'd actually been considering it on and off over the last month or two. I think it started when somebody posted those documentaries (BBC I think) on those exceptionally tall young people - they had this incredibly reluctant attitude toward their physique, and even though their immense height might have been something a lot of people would enjoy for a short while, it was obvious that the attention they kept getting was really making them feel outcast and reclusive. Likewise, we all know somebody (or somebody who knows somebody) who just kinda happens to develop huge muscles (i.e. giant calves or forearms) with almost no attention to them whatsoever, and I started wondering, what if the same situation as the tall-guy documentaries were applied to a person whose puberty consisted of growing those huge muscles rather than growing heads and shoulder over everybody? There's a lot to work with in that premise, and no doubt the myostatin-baby studies could play a part in it as well. I'll admit I prefer realism stretched to its extremes over the usual outlandish situations that are often explored, so the concept has been appealing to me for a while now. It can be fun to be in a show, but I can understand wanting the show to stop after a while - it was easy to identify with those 7-foot-tall guys, and I think it would just as easily apply to a genetic freak.

I am thinking of The Hulk . Dr.Banner doesn't "want" to transform as he knows The Hulk can cause damage .

In the original tv series , there was an episode called "Prometheus" where a meterorite was giving off radiation which caused Dr.Banner to remain stuck halfway in transformation .

There was a Goosebumps episode called "Say Chesse and Die Again" where a sinister camera has an effect on a kid . The kid was normal . After a friend takes his picture , the photo shows him as a fat kid . He wakes up the next day very overweight . He continued to grow fatter and fatter ( which was unwanted ) until the photo was altered .

It could have gone differently if the photo shoed the kid gaining muscles and more muscles .

Reasons Unwanted and Unwilling are not seen more often

I am part of the old guard dating back some time. FanTCdude/FanTCman authored "Curious Cats" back in either the late 1990's or just after 2000. In this story you have two teens who are not overjoyed about their transformations and remain unhappy through about half the story.

Doing this scenario is very difficult and as a writer of this kind of fiction I can explain why.

You first have to gauge the emotional reaction to any human being encountering this kind of situation. The most erotic and intersting would be the reactions of a teen as opposed to an adult.

This is one that you really cannot do as a fast transformation, it has to be slow and gradual with lots of graphic descriptions of the things the transforming individual would see and feel. To be effective, the fear must be preserved throughout the transformation and acceptancec even of an orientation shift cannot be revealed to the reader until the very end of the story or you kill the fear and unwanted emotions that would take place.

By stretching out all of the aspects of the transformation from genital size, ,to body hair to muscle mass you still have not really done it. Here, the changes in libido, the attractions, unwanted erections, and all the rest have to be detailed in such a manner as to make the unbelieveable, believeable at least to the reader.

A conventional transformation can be done in a relatively few pages, can be brought to an erotic conclusion and done well in a much more tight structure to speed it up.

In the MGS world it is easy to transform someone who wants it. This applies to both the stories themselves and to the individuals experiencing the transformations. It is far more difficult to transform an unwilling individual or an individual who fears this kind of transformation simply because the writing must slow down and become far more graphic to capture the fear, the conflicted emotions and the chanages in emotion with each phase of the transformation.

There may come a time I as Wordshop would tackle this one. It is just very difficult to do and to have it remain both believeable and erotic at the same time.

Thinking of Ideas for Unwanted.

I have actually been tossing this around mentally and trying to come up with a concept so far as to who or whom would be in a position to really be terrified of this kind of transformation. This brings up the question as to whom the muscle and other features would be a liability instead of an asset.

A premeur danceur (male ballet star) a male figure skater and a jockey are individuals to whom a size increase would not be welcome.

I have come up with every scenario I can because I need to focus on reasoning.

So I am going to pose it to those who want this story because I have to make the character "real" if I write it. I would prefer to transform a teen.

Let's hear your reasons and ideas as to why this particular teen would fear muscle, hypermasculinity and size.

If we can come up with something I would want to do, Wordshop will definitely write it.

I can use general fear of the unknown, but, I think that approach is getting old and tired. I kind of want to do something fresh and totally innovative.

Let's hear some suggestions on how we start this one off. . . .

What about a gymnast...5'6" with a tight, muscular body but small and compact? He has his sights set on the Olympics. His whole life has been geared toward that and he's a champion all through high school (and freshman year in college?)

He SURELY wouldn't want to lose everything he's worked for by being turned into a HUGE slab of muscle...maybe some height thrown in to really screw him up.

Just a thought.

The concept on this is interesting to me. Having been into watching gymnastics in way back in HS we had a few of these guys who were small, but a couple of them had muscle development that was way beyond what the average gymnast had. One hispanic kid (at that time) was absolutely gigantic in muscle development for his height almost disproportionately so. I remember in a meet watching him hold an "iron cross" for nearly 90 seconds. It was so impressive one of the judges at the meet sat there slack jawed. The main disadvantage to a gymnast would be more towards general size increase than muscle development.

Muscle being overdeveloped would not play a role in hi-bar, or rings, but would be a disadvantage on "pommel horse", tumbling and in parallel bars.

I will write this if I can absolutely figure a way to make it work and make it "real".

With my writing as has been a long practice I tend to make my fantasy based on medical fact and use knowledge of medicine and physiology to make it more real.

All of this raises another question. If this fellow is transformed, does he crash and burn or do we give him an "out"?

Well...extreme muscle growth in my mind would impact his coordination and flexibility, his center of gravity, control of his newfound strength (he might start overshooting power moves). Depending on the sci-fi aspect, there may not be equipment made to handle his new mass and bulk. An out could be that he can't do the gymnastics but this might be the first year for bodybuilding at the Olympics or he slips into the powerlifting events as a darkhorse.

TOTAL brainstorming and no real thought to any of this so I won't take it personally if you don't go this route

I love that idea of the gymnast.
And also growing a huge, massive package would make it nearly imposible to do the horse and the floor exercises and maybe he grows so big he weight too much to be held by the rings.

If you want anotehr reason of fearing growing, it could be that he's very very kind not wanting to hurt or broke things and with more muscle comes more strenght and also not controling it, making him hurting others or breaking things when he doesn't intend to.
But I DO definetly like MUCH MORE the gymnast idea!!!!!!!!! YAY!!

I do see some potential here and now I am just going to have to figure out how to plug together all the pieces. I kind of have a sub plot in that I think I may make the transformation the results of a spoiled rich brat who want's the spot that this kid is first in line to get. That gives us more emotional responses and maybe potential for a little revenge at the end.

A good, competitive rivalry always adds to the emotional mix!

Chocomus, being a bull in a china shop myself most of my life the idea of "inflicting" the concept onto someone who has always been graceful and agile and able to do a backflip out of the way his whole life is just EVIL! It also opens up for some comedic situations as well as possibly dangerous ones.

As a gymnast, he would discover very soon how his enlarged muscles would also mean that he is now MUCH stronger than before. After he would rip a few doors off their hinges, he would stop gymnastics and go into weight lifting instead... He would hate being so muscular at first, but once all the compliments starts coming in, he would love it...

Right now I have written about 5 pages of this. I do not know if this is going to be the final form or not as yet. We have the spoiled rich kid, heir to a pharmaceutical fortune bent on revenge because of a tyrannical father. He perceives the hero as a threat and tries to use any means possible to eliminate the nice guy from an athletic scholarship.

I do not see how this one can go quickly, at the 5 page mark I have gotten the whole scenario set up, but the emotions in this are going to take space. I must also ad that writing the negative feelings and imparting fear and terror through the written word are very difficult to say the least. - - - -Off we go!-----

A serious gymnast hate to have any sort of growth spurt while they are engauged in competition... getting taller would throw their Vaulting off because the length of the step would change... I would also cause problems in Floor Exercise... their are required to traverse the square area they perform in during several tumbling passes but are not allow to step outside that area.

Also any change is height weight or weight distrubtion would alter their center of gravity... that throw his balance off badly

Also the reason gymnast are generally rather short is that their weight increases much faster then their strength can with increasing height... and the longer their bodies the more leverage acts to their disadvantage... so being short is an advantage...

metabods

(first post yay!)
I like the gymnast idea, but i remember, somewhere (on metabods maybe?) there was a story about a boy who was growing up, and his dad was a muscle guy, so put him on this program so he would be big and gay and stuff... the kid didnt want it, but then he started having this alter ego that was "evil" and liked growing, so he started to like it... eventually the dad would invite friends for the kid to show off to, i wish i could remember the story

"Chris Olympus, Nasty Boy"

I believe this is the story you have in mind:

http://www.pridesites.com/omelissoko...s-olympus.html

FanTCMan/Dude is one of the masters of unwanted growth erotica. His vivid descriptions and dialogue showing a guy trying to resist changes to his body, then admitting to the pleasure, and finally not only accepting but relishing his new body and cock still arouse me years after I originally read them. Other favorites along the same theme are "Curious Cats", "Fantastic Island", and "A Perfect Revenge".

One reason a teen might not want to grow is that he is afraid of becoming arrogant jock like his older brother. Once he gets bigger than his brother he realizes that it's the person's attitude and not the muscle that makes them a jerk. He could beat up his now smaller brother but he is a nice guy at heart so he doesn't. He does show his brother what it is like to bullied so he won't bully others. Just an idea. cutlerfan

idea

yes that was it, thanks Max;
anyway, i would like to say that yea, it is a great idea except that you
may forget that one of the most commonly used (but not necessarily true)
concept is that muscles create your attitude, there may be a nerd not wanting to grow into a "asshole" jock, and decides once he transforms, to take revenge; you never know

Well boys that are growing up would maybe fit that description. I mean, puberty and all, they get musclier naturally. Not sure if it's unwanted, though. Just 'unnoticed' or 'unexpected' maybe.

What about a male model that is supposed to remain stick thin? And then he starts to hulk out and he has to find a new job, maybe as a male stripper or porn star?

Fleshing this idea out more, I really like the idea of a super effeminate guy all of a sudden hulking out, and just not knowing how to handle the carriage of a super muscular body, how to act in public, how to be macho, and how a little bit of arrogant jockness creeps in after a while, slowly slowly he becomes more accustomed to being assertive and dominant instead of super submissive...starts feeling comfortable in environments outside his immediate set of friends and hangouts, feels like he can handle himself at bars he might not have before, sports events...just a thought.

Also, would love to see the beginning set in the fashion world and the reactions of all the other models and super effeminate designers as he slowly becomes a REAL masculine presence among them. He could also be a designer...maybe I'll do something with all this but if anyone wants to go with it, please do.

I would hate growth. In fact I find it sexually pleasing to see myself getting smaller and smaller, b/c that makes others seem bigger and bigger. Am i the only one?

Seen This Before

This story idea has been on my mid for some days now. I really like the idea of the smaller guy, let say a skinny wimpy dude, gaining alot of muscle and strength.

There was this one story I read where a high-school wimpy kid wished for more stength and muscle so he can take-on the other high-school jocks that were picking on him. So, this wimpy kid did spells, potions and drew out the star on the ground. The next day he grew a good amount of muscle and took on the Jocks single handedly. But, his wish did not stop there. The wimpy kid grew even MORE muscle the next few weeks. According to the story he grew very muscular and shredded. He weighed 450lb. Awesome! But originally he only wanted to grow a little bit to take on the Jocks. The wimpy-kid now grown very big and muscular was able to take on so much more. He was not too sure he wanted that much strength and muscle.

Later in the story he grows into it and gain self confidence and sees this as POWER. I love that too in these stories. Not only gaining unwanted muscle but then seeing it as POWER to take on everyone. You know ripping clothes off, showing muscle srength and then taking on any one. Hot.

Well, the story ends that the wimpy-kid remains BIG. I think he grew over 650lbs. And, he grew into likeing hs poer and stength. And in the end he was like by all in his high school. even the Jocks.

What would make this story interesting is when the wimpy kid grows into a huge muscular guy and begins to bully his former tormentors himself. So, the bullied little guy becomes a bully himself. In the end, one of his "friends" confronts him, and brings him back to reality and reminds him where he came from, and who he was before he experienced his growth spurt. Then, he changes his ways, and decides to no longer be the "bully" all the others feared, but to be the big nice guy he once was when he was a "wimp". That is the kind of story I would like to see! Who's gonna write it?????

I like the idea of unwanted growth but I'd like to move it away from the Teen years and suggest something else.

Bloke in his 40's working for a faceless Corp. Was a sportsman in College but he's let himself go a lot. He's viving for a plumb management position and a route to a seat on the board. His opposition is a younger man with a gymnasts body but the same intellect and skills; his rise has been fast and our protaganist reckons its because of his looks. So he resolves to do something about it and hits the gym.

However after so many years away and too much junk food he makes almost no gains. He considers fattening up his opponent, but a gymrat offers him a 'protein shake' course that will help him out. And it does, the weight begins to drop off and the muscle builds. Our Hero gains more confidence, more sexual appetite. His work improves as does his chances of the position he wants. As he continues to grow and reshape he enjoys his new bear body.

With the interview is coming up he tries to cut back on his growth- he wants to be bigger and fitter than his oppoant, not out Hulk him. However the growth is not slowing- if anything he's getting bigger faster; his body gets more brutish. People begin to get scared of him, he's now intimidating rather than lovable. It gets noticed by management.

He's only got a week to go and he's nearing heavyweight size- what can he do??

Another one:

Special Effects Master Bob Green needs a man to fit in the monster suit he has built for a new fantasy movie, but has run out of budget to hire anyone. In desperation he turns to his 20something Assistant Michael who's quite muscular and claims he's down the gym 'all the time'. Michael is not interested in 'bulking up' however.

Stuck with a deadline Bob calls in a favour and get a 'scientist' he knows to make up a cocktail of alerted genetics, steroids, MGH into a supplement shake which he swops for Michael's normal one. What he does not know is that Michael has lied to him; he is naturally muscular and only visits the gym once a week- he takes the shake though but nothing seems to happen.

The movie comes out using recycled monster footage. It sucks at the box office. Bob's reputation takes a nose dive and he has to close his Special FX house. Laid off Michael spends all day job hunting and watching TV; his gym membership gone to the wall with his job.

Michael begins to bloat. He piles on weight; his muscular body vanishes under a growing layer of blob. Michael does not notice how fat he's got until an SFX awards ceremony comes up and he tries to get into one of his suits which he is twice as big as now. After a humiliating night in a rented 'tent' of a tux he squeezes himself into an old sweatsuit and heads for the Doctor. The Doc does not belive he was a muscular bloke only a few months ago and after a few tests the Doctor tells him he needs to lose weight and recommends a cheap gym which Micheal can just squeeze into his budget.

Michael hits the gym. He takes it light at first. The gym owner offers him free membership if he'll take part in a promo campaign which he takes and they work out a 12 month plan to burn off the jiggling fat he's piled on. However the work outs trigger something and Michael's gains are spectacular; within a few months he's burning off the fat everywhere but his belly, which has shrunk but won't go away. After 6 months he's as muscular as ever before and still gaining.

The gym owner is ecstatic- the promo is very successful and Michael is his star member. He encourages him to get as muscular as possible. Michael still does not want to bulk up but the growth keeps coming and coming. Michael does not want this, he's scared of his growth- his looks are changing, his body hair, sweat, cock, everything is different and still changing. He starts dreaming of Bob's old monster suit becoming his body. He tries to stop working out but the growth keeps coming and coming....

Those are both good plot line for the unwanted grow theme... Based on the reality that in the real word size and the ability to fit in does matter.

While a lot of people here claim there is "No Such Thing As Too Big." They only feel that way because they are sure there is no chance of them ever actually getting "really big," in the real world.

No one in their right mind actually wants to be a real freak... ask any fat kid... it sucks... Kids want to be like all the other kids, because they want to be accepted. The less like everyone else you are the harder it is to accepted. At best a freak is tolerated and then only if he can provide some service or other benefit to the group. Otherwise the freak becomes a outcast.

What most people that see themselves as outcasts and freaks want is to become anonymous and fade into the background.

Only someone that sees himself as a non-person and invisible would want to be a freak.

1.

You've all heard the myths (?) of twins with psychic sympathies between each other, right?

Let's say there's a pair of twin guys, average looking dudes who don't stand out. They're the same physically but they have different lives with different goals. They might not even know each other--perhaps they were separated at birth and taken to adoptive homes. Or maybe they grew up together but went their own ways in life.

Twin A (Adam) has decided to take up a fitness regime while Twin B (Brad) isn't interested. So here's the kicker: Adam discovers he likes hitting the weights and gets into bodybuilding full steam--and Brad's body goes along for the ride!

It might be funny to see Adam working hard to get big muscles only to see no results while Brad slowly muscles up without a clue as to what's happening to him. However, that might not make sense. Wouldn't Adam quit if he made no progress? Or perhaps Adam would become desperate and start taking supplements and steroids. Anything to get bigger. And Brad suffers all the consequences.

However, I think it would be great to contrast Adam getting bigger and loving it while Brad is horrified (and maybe a little turned on?) by seeing his muscles inflate on their own.

2.

If the growth is undesired, how about some other unwanted side effects? Lately I've found the idea of guys who can't control their own libidos exciting. As the protagonist gets bigger and stronger, he gets hornier as well but he can't restrain his own lust. First he stars getting hard at inopportune times. Then he has to "relieve himself" more and more during the day, jacking off in public bathrooms and nearly getting caught (or propositioned) once or twice. Soon he can't help but demonstrate his uncontrolled urges by self-worshipping himself in public. It doesn't matter how embarassing or inappropriate it is. He's just so turned on by his own mass that he HAS to show off, even though he doesn't want to.

What might REALLY be fun, however, would be if he could compell other guys to get off with him. This dude might be straight or just doesn't want to make any sort of scene, but he could have normal dudes gushing over his muscle. Or maybe the other guys start out ridiculing him but, by getting turned on, their mockery turns to sexual debasement. Even if they don't know why they're doing it, the affected guys relish having power over the big, strong muscleman, while our reluctant hulk just wants to go back to normal.

Yeah, I have a little bit of a dark side with this (I just surprised myself!) but I would hope that the ending would let our big guy learn to embrace his muscle and take his power back--either that or let him embrace being a muscle bound submissive.

I have a slight difference on the "taking supplements" thing Yach. Maybe he does get desperate enough to try and take supplements, or even steroids. But as he does so, and adds those in, he (Adam) gets all of the negatives of steroids, while his twin still continues to grow

And possibly on top of that, maybe Brad gets the opposite effects of what Adam is getting, such as instead of getting smaller testicles like steroids might do, maybe his gets bigger, perhaps even to the point where he can't control his libido anymore, like you mentioned above for another idea.

If the topic is unwanted growth, there should (this being my take) be plenty of resistance leading up to the finale. Ex. clothes slowly tearing and feeling tight, slow growth rate, even grunts from the character. This should occur until the subject finally accepts the growth, course you could take a different route. But hey, thats just my two cents.

I really like this idea, but here is an interesting spin on it. everytime a guy orgasms, he grows very slightly, maybe an inch in all directions. something visable so he notices it, but something small enough that if he controls it, it seems relatively normal over time.

but he can't resist, his libido keeps growing, and he struggles to resist getting any bigger, then some mischievious person (or a girl like me ) with a thing for growth comes and seduces him, making him bigger and bigger against his will. while his logical, rational side begs him to stop the seduction, his raging libido won't allow him to.

Idea 3

I had another idea- a twist on the usual growth story that has the growth but no follow-up.

During the Credit Crisis a Pharmaceutical Corp is stripping assets, anything and everything must go! Esp before the auditors catch up with the Board. Amongst the 'assets' is a genetics lab/behaviour study unit where various steroids and growth hormones have been v successfully developed. It is ordered shut down.

The subjects where all 'volunteers' (of course)- having 'signed' contracts; in those contracts the Company has the right to end the experiment with no recourse, payment etc. Thus one day the 21 musclemen are put on a bus, driven to the edge of town and kicked out at various places. They have nothing but a small payment, old ID's that don't even vaughly resemble them, ill fitting sweatsuits, and only vague memories of their previous lives- having spent up to 10 years in a controlled environment where they did nothing but grow, eat, lift, sleep and fuck.

Our main character was the last one into the experiment- only 2 yrs ago- so has a better grasp of the real world- though his memories are as much of a fog as the others (was a corp exec? University student?). Being the last one in he's benefited from the very refined version of the 'Titans' program. He's 7', 350lb, almost zero body fat, v. well hung, with mocha coloured smooth skin, perfect looks.... compared to him the others are brutish neanderthals (well a few acutally are). His very out of date drivers licence names him Kelvin, though he's spent so long as Alpha anything else seems wrong.

He gets rescued by a ex-Company tech called James who finds him a short while after he is dumped. The Techie rescues him as he is his favourite. He would take in more of them but he knows how much the Titans eat and simply could not feed more than one. James takes Alpha home and worships him and helps him adjust to the real world.

The above is mostly told in flashback; the story begins when Alpha and James are jumped by another ex-Titan when returning from the gym. He is in a bad way, incoherant, mumbling and holding a huge bag of money. The help him and over a few days they get his story of being a leg breaker for the mob. This sets off Alpha determination that it's time to look into and see what has happened to all the former Titans.

Cue the start of a road trip story with flashbacks to the days in the lab; the unwanted growth they underwent, the forced workouts, the sample collecting, milking, and being able to do think of nothing but sex. This is mixed in with finding the other Titans - what does a labrat do when he's no longer needed in the lab?

Ogrebear,

You're throwing out some interesting ideas. Idea 3 sounds REALLY interesting and you've already got a pretty complex plot worked out. Why don't you pick a part of it and flesh it out with some details...write the story you see in your head?
