Is this really a fair question? ;)

Hmmm.. I choose nothing, but let me explain my selection...

Since I don't pose nor compete, I won't need posing music.... so if there had been a selection of "Don't pose" I'd have chosen it. But beyond that, as far as personal choice I think music is very important. It sets the general atmosphere and it can often motivate people to put on a better performance. I think the thing is, being a musician, I'm opinionated. I might take suggestions, but I don't think I'd pay for another's opinion. I'm also fairly good at looking at the current market and determining what would be considered mainstream and what's progressive. The rest is just having a large database of musical knowledge.

Just my two cents, if it's worth that much

Scott

As an observer (not a competitor), it seems like the service in question is not music selection, but choreography. You don't want just some music, but you want a posing routine that flows and music that accompanies that. You probably also want something that shows you, as an individual, off at your best -- something that has character and accentuates your body. You would pay an expert for that complete service, not part of it. And since they are an expert, they should be paid for it proportional to their experience level.

My $0.02

right,Corwin

i'm not sure you could"advise"someone about posing music for a full hour.people either like a piece,or they don't.it's best that the poser finds something that HE's comfortable with&enjoys.a choreographer,on the other hand, can compose a routine with climaxes, musicality&smooth transitions.working on a routine can take weeks or months.a couple of points to remember;judges want to see poses HELD,it's not just about movement.&remember,if you can't dance;DON'T DANCE!
