This is an idea I got based on what I saw on sunday, with the premiere of "The Prisoner."

It's a rather simple one. Instead of just a Village with over a thousand people who have forgotten (or forced to forget) the outside world, why not have a Village of all men from varying backrounds, who's only real activity they can do is to work out.

From there, the story could..."flesh" out in a large number of ways. The men could eventually become a bunch of sex-crazed muscle-heads (used a lot, but still just as hot), or maybe they could find out who brought them there or at least why they're there.

The Prisoner itself was a good episode on sunday, but I thought during the whole thing that it would make a great MG story if done right.

The prisoners would need a push to make them work out. A plant or two, perhaps, who would take to the ample weightlifting equipment. Let's combine that with additives in the food that make the men build muscle easily. Instead of steroids, there could be something that makes the men produce more testosterone naturally. And then there's something that keeps the men placated. They might want to get out but something is dulling their minds a little bit so that they can't plan an escape or even wonder too much about why they're enslaved. The obvious way to do this is to make the men too horny to think!

Our protagonist will be the one to rise above all this in more ways than one. He might have a resistance to the mind-dampeners but, at the same time, he might have a strong reaction to the T-boosters resulting in him becoming king of the roost.

The main thing, however, is that the villains (are they really so bad for creating a muscle paradise?) must have a definite reason for doing this, even if it's not something we understand. Is this just an experiment in different drugs? We wouldn't necessarilly need to know what the drugs are for. That can be a MacGuffin. Perhaps the prison is there to create a special class of male escorts. Once the men finish their "training" they can be rented out to the wealthy. As a side venture, the men can be used as porn stars.

MM, you might want to watch the original Prisoner for ideas (plus, you'll be able to get to the bottom of the mystery a lot faster since it's all on DVD!) Knowing the ending to the original Prisoner, this story could be a real mind bender if it stays on the same path.
