new mcdonald's commercial

wanted to alert everyone to a new mcdonald's commercial. it's a special offer for he-man toys, which, in the ad at least, cause extreme muscle growth in a couple of boys.

Sorry, they (or any other cartoon block) always have tons of ads for Mc Donalds, and all other junkfood. I wasn't very clear. On second reading, my last post in this thread is kind of sick. How about, "Time to start watching the Cartoon Network again." Is that better? I still want to see the ad. It might not even be all that.

commercials

Hey guys, you should also know that commercials sometimes are put out for certain areas. Like I remember seeing this awesome Mcdonalds commercial a few years ago that showed how big some of the customers appetites were over the years- first a regular sized guy, then a jock sized guy, and eventually some giant muscle guy that was so big that his head was out of the frame. (and the guy at the counter had this omigod look as he looked up at him)
I saw this commercial a few times up in the Michigan area but never saw it in Ohio.(I was trying to tape it)

Mc Donalds has test regions too.

People I've known in the past who have worked on McDonald's advertising have told me that McDonalds has 3 test regions. This way they can get a sample of public opinion. This was 10 years ago, I think they were: Chicagoland (their Headquarters), Atlanta GA (I 'm not sure about this one), and here in Portland OR. I remember they said that Portland was cosidered to be a, "Purely American" market since we are 3 hours away from the next city (Seatle), are mostly middle-class, and have few minoritties. I was shocked to hear that criteria, but it kind of makes sence that they would test ads and products in diffrent markets with diffrent demographics, to see how your product will do across the US. Funny thing is, I don't know anyone that actualy eats at McDonalds. I would forget their existance if they didn't keep trying to build restraunts in nieghborhoods that didn't want them, then protests follow, and I go, "Oh yeah, I remember them..."

Question

Was it good, or just creepy? It sounds like it could go either way (I am not attracted to young guys so it may not be my taste). BTW, what market (part of the country) do you live in? McDs can be very regional in their advertising. Not that it would matter for me; I seem to exclusively watch BBC America these days, and they don't run many McDs ads.
