Alex Johnson is BACK!!!!! He's HUGE, and he's the nicest guy on the planet. I love how he now has a little friend in Courtney to watch out for. I think that Court may be going through that "confused about his burgeoning sexuality" phase, that I think most of us went through at his age. Coupled with the fact he's really small and timid, PLUS that asshole Jason and his goons hanging around every corner, things don't seem bright for Courtney. But he has Alex for a friend, now, so he should do fine. I just hope he doesn't explode out of his shell and become so fixated with Alex that nothing else matters.

Nice to see that Phil is his usual grumbling, complaining self. Loved the idea of laying the Kingsize crossways at the end of the new mattress so that Alex will have plenty of room. For some strange reason I picture Gram as the acress Marrion Ross (as she appeared in That 70s Show), although as Gram (at least in my head anyways), she is nothing like the old bitch she was as Red Foreman's mother.

Of course, I'm sure that I speak for everyone on here, when I raise the question: "But will Alex be set for another growth spurt?" In your capable hands, of course. First rate stuff, and thank you for continuing with this.

I'm glad you like the new story. I thought it would be good to introduce other characters like Courtney, since Alex' main squeeze, Ryan, wouldn't be around as much.

When I created Phil, my thinking was very much along the lines of the classic Evil Stepfather, but I decided he'd be much more useful as comic relief.

I'm working on Chapter 6 right now, so I have a pretty good idea where things are going. Yes, there will be more growth spurts; what I'm not saying is WHO will have the growth spurts.

Chapter 2 will be up on Thursday.

I'm pretty sure I see Jason's game. He can't hurt Alex physically any more, so he's going to go after his friends and the psychological torment route. He's going to mess with Alex's head and maybe beat his friends up if he isn't around, and if Alex ever tries to do anything about it, he's going to play the victim to the authorities, pretending that Alex is the one doing the bullying.

What a scumbag. He needs to get his at some point. With a vengeance.
