Exclamation Tsunami Warning

I doubt anyone will read this in time but, just in case, if you live on the western coasts of the US, Canada, Mexico or South America then there is a tsunami watch out. Please be careful.

Also, please pray for the people of Japan and those already affected by the Tsunami. I've never seen anything this bad before.

The tsunami is estimated to arrive at Hawaii at 1307 GMT (0307 local time), arrive in Washington State at about 1607 GMT (0807 local time) and California by 1807 GMT (1007 local time). It is not due to reach Mexico until nearly 2000 GMT (1400 local time) and will not Peru until 0031 GMT on Saturday (1931 local time)

Remember how some people in Florida were naively expecting a helicopter ride to safety. Come to think of it, we would not have most problems with natural disasters like this if we just had building codes that included reinforcing the ground floor walls and cieling. And while we are on the subject - earthquake proof it all with a pocket of sand under the basement, and add diagonal beams to stop it from tipping over from the inside. it would only set back a homebuyer about $5,000 extra at most on the already $250,000 project a typical housing project costs. Why stop there? dont use light materials, they burn easy, and cant be recycled compared to modern materials.
