Hipster Muscle

I've come to realize that I have a thing for hipsters. I know people hate hipsters for some reason. Yes, there are some obnoxious ones out there but all the hipster types I know are cool and down to Earth while they trendily defy trends. However, most hipsters are skinny or fat. Some have naturally muscular bodies but nothing like our tastes. I just need some muscle to go along with the scruffy beards, the tats, the retro glasses, the plaid shirts, and the PBR.

A hipster MG is easy enough. Find an indie guy, give him an injection, make him huge, don't change his brain.

However, the real challenge comes in making the story itself hipster. What's the trigger? Radioactive PBR? A t-shirt with a muscleman on it? How about a unicorn? Or mind control from an indie band that makes the listening men want to work out compulsively? You can go from stereotypical hipster accessories and tastes to something completely random so long as it fits the "ironic" atmosphere of hipsterdom. Or you can just have a cool guy who works out on his own and decides to explore his own potential.

And then, what happens afterwards? Of course I would hope for sex, sex, and more sex. That's my fave! But the story should follow the mood set by the trigger. You can be goofy and off kilter or more down-to-earth. Goofier stories would feature random elements that don't seem related to the story (but are on hipster-and nerd trends.) However, some retro bodybuilding elements would work too since hipsters are big on reclaiming things from the past.

Huh? Oh yeah, I go to this little gym in uptown. You've probably never heard of it, but it's the best gym in the city.

BTW, i LOVE the idea of him drinking a potion-spiked or radioactive PBR.

I had a little thought about this the other day, while at the gym. What if your hipster was an artist with a studio in the hip, artsy part of town. A trainer/part owner of a gym opening that needs art & artwork done (ie. murals) walks in and says they are strapped for cash, but he could pay in free training, supplementation, and their VIP, "Vitamin" service. Said hipster would have been recently rejected by a hot boy for being too thin, and thus accepts the offer.
