I can do a really good Russian accent (well technically I belong to the same continent as Russia, right?) Anyway, I read the dialogue aloud and played all the roles. My Patty's not bad either. Seriously, your dialogue is brilliant, better by far than many movies I've seen over the years.

I know there are fewer chapters ahead than there are behind (I mean, how many turning points can a story have, right? Isn't there just supposed to be one in a story?)

But I have a voracious appetite for your work, and I really don't want this to end, ever. How do you write this prolifically and hold down a 9-to-5? Don't answer that if you don't want to. I'm prying.... can't help it. I'm a massive fan of yours and right now your work has me dizzy with delight.

Er.... we live in a time of trilogies, okay...? Please keep that in mind.

No, we live in a world of relentless and often unnecessary sequels. When a franchise comes out with a name like "The final Destination" and then follows up with a fifth, then you know it's gone too far.

Then again, I don't think this series could ever go too far, except maybe in waiting times and cliffhangers. Seriously, will Alex never just have a week where someone DOESN'T dissapear, get captured, cause a break up or make up or something else desasterous. Give the man a rest! His social life was nonexistent, and now it's non-stop catastrophes. He's going to have some very odd ideas about socialising and friendships in later life.

And sorry, but the Voice is so damn unprofessional. Hasn't he learned? A guy tried to get them last time and get the grow juice. They failed. Partly due to an act of nature, but then again, seemingly that act of nature was due to the spirit of his father (for those who remember the end of the previous story). The man can lift trucks one handed and command tornadoes. And anyway, he's been woefully unprofessional as to who and how they deal with. Leaving Jason open like that, zapping Alex... Not a clever series of moves. He's making too many mistakes.

Bloody unprofessional. Probably is the Russian Mafia.

I'd love to have some more descriptions of Alex breaking more things, especially since he's grown bigger now. I remember back in the early chapters you had him breaking through stairs and breaking beds. I think since he grew recently, there should be more of that. What is his current weight? I'd say almost 1000 give he was over 700 before.

Hmmm…. Yes we have many new or at least reframed questions… I hardly know where to start…

Well as most of us guessed the bad guys (or one group of bad guys) are after the Grow Juice. And it would appear that they can be rather ruthless. My guess is they ran Jason off the road and held him for most of the week he was missing, pumping him for information. A few days of intensive questioning with drugs and electroshock could easily turn Jason’s brain into the bean dip it seems to be now. So the bad guys know everything Jason knew. And I am pretty sure that includes most if not all Frank knows about the Grow Juice. Frank knows Sammy got the Grow juice Sammy used on him from Courtney’s school locker. Whether any one but Alex, Court, and Ryan know that Alex gave Court the formula is unclear. But that Court had a large supply the ‘special supplement’ is pretty common knowledge. So nabbing Court would be the logical next step up the supply chain. It’s interesting that even though the bad guys have had Court and Jen for several days they don’t know Courtney has the formula. Since having Jen should make getting information from Court easier than from Jason. These bad guy seem to be pretty smart and organized. They would they weren’t going to get more useful information from Jason but I wouldn't want him talking to anyone that could interfere with the overall project, so if I didn’t want to continue to sit on him I would kill him or drop him in an ally at least 50-100 miles from Alliance… far enough that he wouldn’t be found till I was sure I had the formula. So since Jason was dumpster diving just blocks from Alex's house and their school, he must have gotten loose on his own. Now that's just plain sloppy... Unless Jason is part of the plot, and I really don't want him to be.

Jason running away from Alex when they meet in the dumpster but then following him home like a lost puppy thinking that Alex is Frank and then bolting like rabbit when Dillup shows up is some more cute slapstick, but it brings up a couple of questions.

Why did Jason go to the front door of Alex’s house? I assume that after Jason lost Alex he decided that Alec was Frank and followed Alex home. And he would have seen Alex go in the back door. If I just saw my buddy go in the back door, was in his back yard and was worried some was looking for me I would knock on the backdoor not go to front door where I could be easily seen from the street. But since Jason seem to be running on bean dip it may have made sense to him.

Why did Dillup show up with in minutes of Jason and why did he terrify Jason? After all he is Frank's tailor too. Is Dillup involved in the abductions, was he prowling the streets for Jason and saw him on Alex’s doorstep. Could he have been watching Alex’s house in case Jason did come and to gain entry to the house have some new clothes for Alex in hand?

I may be reading more into Frank reaction to Alex telling him he had Jason in his kitchen until Dillup knocked on the front door than is intended but he seems more concerned now than when Jason was missing might be dead.

And a few Easter Eggs

This guy thinks he’s Dr. Evil. Obviously Dr. Evil wants the Grow Juice because he intends to use it on ‘Mini-Me’ to make him ‘Mega-Me’. I hope I’m not the only one to get that one…

Slo-o-o-o-wly I turned… This will date me but I saw the Three Stooges do their “Niagara Falls!!!---- Slo-o-o-o-wly I turned…” routine live* on stage and shook hands with Larry Fine when I was 6 or 7… It was in Buffalo, N.Y. where they get electric power from Niagara Falls.
* It was with Curly Joe rather than either of the Howard, Fine and Howard Stoogies… I’m not that old…

Russian Mafia… This would be troubling, since the other story featuring 8 ft hyper muscular massively hung teens, JayPat’s Titanification, seems to have collapsed when the Russian Mafia foolishly tried to play with “The Kid’s” Titan growth spurt while in a plane 6 miles up… and he out grows the plane. But Umlerian49 mentioned a while back he tries to stay a chapter or two head of what he posts so that shouldn’t be a problem here.

And something to think about...

Since Alex grows when he gets Tasered (my guess is any high voltage shock would cause it.) What would happen if Frank, Ryan or Courtney get zapped?

I like the twists and turns and look for a few loose ends to be tied up in the process. How "mature" will Alex be in his decision-making in the face of such formidable threats against his friends?
