A Deal’s a Deal....

Hi Bros… I said I’d be back … I’ve be tinkering with a couple of story lines and can’t really decide which to pursue first… and quite how to post it… So I’ll ask the few of you that care, which to push harder on… hence the poll…

One plot line picks up at the end of part 30 where I stopped… the other involves the former cocky jock Tony that now finds himself in the not too very jockish body of the Tony from the original time line…

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.

I'd say write each one seperately and see which thread works and which one is dead. Then again, you can throw caution to the wind and write both at the same time. It could provide some interesting combinations, though I must advise that writing two alternate timelines at the same time without confusion or clutter will be tricky. (I'd recommend you watch the movie "Sliding Doors" with Gwennith Platrow or however she spells her name.) Keep in mind that if you run two alternate timelines at the same time, eventually they must come back together at some point.

Oh, and the idea of a jock being dumped into a non-jock body is interesting. It would certainly give him a taste of being the underdog and outcast, but I'm curious as to what the jock would do to his wimpy body. Dwell on the past? Or take up the new challenge?

I was planning on continue in both story line with the intent reconcile them at some point... Although I'm not sure quite how that will happen yet...

I have been working both plots and not should which to focus on first... Trying to write them both at the sometime is messy so which should I try to finish first???

I think that if anything it would be interesting to take it from both sides and combine it together into a single story. One way that you can make it all the more interesting, since you more or less mentioned that Saint switched their souls, then you can have it that when they're asleep their souls call out to their true bodies, and they can actually communicate with each other. I should be interesting since when they're asleep you can have the non-jock tony act in the manner that we have all fallen for, and we can see what the jock tony was originally like, in his true jockish nature. if he was condisending or any other mannerisms that would place him apart from our dear sweet tony. Hope to see the results, and I will be more than happy to assist in any way,(always looking for something interesting to write on)

As in TimeCop messy? Hardly. The trick is the transition from one timeline to the other and to creat two storylines that complement each other. If you're a Stargate fan, check out the episode "The Changeling" from Season 6. The story was written by Christopher Judge who plays Teal'c. The shifts between both alternate timelines were brilliant.

besides, Lucifer is sitting too pretty in this whole thing, maybe if the two Tonies can join forces through their dreams, they can manage to put Lucifer into an interesting situation since there'd be two of them and aparently only one of Lucifer. either way it should be interesting

... and hope get something out soon... things have been messy for me of late and I haven't been in the mood to write... But I want to know what happens too... so I need to let the characters out of sleep mode...

Are there alternate Saints? that is one of the things I'm pondering... and the two Tony getting together is another...

For the present the two storylines can't mix I need to "sync" the Tonys then maybe...

well if you're thinking about syncing the two tonies or stories, then perhaps you should leave the main story line where it is and go back to when the jock tony arrived in the prime universe. that way you can just focus on one tony, kinda include a sort of dream thingy to show that they can slightly call out to each other and then do something major when it catches up to jock world. Hope things in your life get better and take your time, art should never be rushed. Best of luck

Sorry for not posting any thing for a while... I just got back from spending the last month in New Orleans putting in radio links for FEMA after the storms...

I went to High School and College there (Tulane) and my folks still live there so it's still sort of home for me...

Tulane is closed for classes this semister because of the hurricanes but they are fielding a football team... since they aren't going to classes can they really be termed "Student Athelets"??? Stuff like that is why I was reluctent to make Jock Tony a football player but I wanted the relationship with Brian that Tony as a football jock afforded... but I still hate football...
