How to insult a bodybuilder.... I saw a guy at the gym Sunday morning. He was working his chest on the cable machine. He had wide delts and good size arms but I notice that his legs were completely non-existant. I thought to myself, I should tell him, "Man, you've got a GREAT upper body!" and see if he realizes he was just insulted. If he smiled and said thanks, then he's totally clueless. If, on the other hand, he said, "f*ck you," I'll know he got the clue. Instead, I didn't comment. I just smirked. |

You could always ask the famous question... "Do you workout?" But of course appending ... your legs? You'd be surprised how many guys will say they don't work their legs out because if they did their legs would be "too large". Some people actually choose to look like a pile of muscle on toothpicks... Scott __________________ In a world of old memories... There's no room for visitors. - Nobuhiro Watsuki |

There are a couple of guys at my gym who have fantastic upper body development, but I never ever see then working their legs, and only occasionally their backs. It's always arms, shoulders and chest. And they do these on all the days I am there working other body parts. Even my partner, who has just started working out with me, noticed and commented to me. Don't get me wrong, these guys are good looking, but they are all about impressing the ladies. __________________ Blanche: I don't really mind Clayton being homosexual, I just don't like him dating men. I've had friendly straight guys at my gym say they don't do squats because they don't want their butts to get too big! W.T.F.?! TRAGEDY!!! -BigLittleTim |

There are two reasons I have found that people don't work legs: 1) they don't take their jeans off in a club so why do they need big legs...but heaven forbid if they don't have a six pack and hard pecs up top... 2) building big legs is hard, really hard and takes a long time. Anyone who does a heavy leg workout realises it takes way more out of you than most other body parts...And because of 1) there is no need to make such an effort - just do a few more bench presses to get those tits pumped... 3) as Big Little Tim says there is a fear of accidentally getting a powerlifter shape and ending up god forbid with a waist above 32ins and a big meaty butt... |

don't know not to stay off topic or anything...... i honestly don't unerstand why people wouldn't want a hard ass..yeah it sticks out a little but dang its hot..and besides to me if your gonna take the time to work out your upper body to look tantilizing then why not gow the legs to match.. just my two cents nate |

Some people(me).... ....have big butts naturally&then they're worried that it's too big so they just train upper body&then they're top-heavy&then the legs have to catch up.Some people. |

Oddly,... My whole family has skinny legs. I don't mean just thin legs but bone skinny legs. I was no exception. I have had to work HARD just to get my legs to a point where they are just above a normal person's leg development. It sucks. But my sister is always amazed at my leg development and my butt (in a sisterly way! Keep your mind out of the gutter). She says, "How come you're the only one in the family that has a butt?" I smile and say "I work hard at it!" |

Ok! I am still training for Gay Games&am concentrating on legs;so I didn't feel like there was any"fun stuff"to show(pecs,arms,etc)But I DO do requests so I'll make a note of getting a"back jeans"shot in there!I'm flattered.Thanks. |
| |||
but hey, some of us really DO have naturally big legs with very little work.... i guess it's the "genetics" thing. (yes, i wish i had a little more "genetics" in my arms). |

I'm with brent. I love the feeling in my legs the day after a leg workout. They're heavy, they burn, going up stairs hurts . . . but GOD! it's f***ing great. Just my thoughts |
| |||
Might I suggest the following question (if you really want to insult one)? "So tell me, how long have you been training?" as a Oklahoman TV news reporter said to a hulking mass of muscle in 1992! __________________ The stronger they are, the more muscled they are |

Jp Fux With that comment, I had to go back to my archive and look at some pics of JP FUX and see for myself what you say is...a flat butt. Having been born with a flat butt (thanks mom and dad), I've had to work hard at getting mine just up to what normal people have. But I did find some photos that prove what you say. Yes, he has a butt but it is also "lagging" when compared to his other bodyparts. Ladies and gentlemen, I submit to you that the glutes are a muscle like any other. If you don't target them like you do all your other muscles, they will not grow. AND, sometimes, the lack of growth can be genetic. I'm sure that if he worked at it (and if one of his friends told him!), he could develop some good glutes. |

Yeah, I am all for having a nice rounded butt, but I forget there are guys out there with a bad genetics card. Good luck on beefing up that butt Dallasmsl. I hope you really "blossom" __________________ -ottomun6- It's time to stop sitting on the sidelines and get in there! |

Thanks bud... I have. Fortunately, my genetics aren't totally screwed up. It's been, as GWB says, "Hard Work" but I'm very satisfied with the perky results! And so is my man. |

I was one of those lucky ones with the "big legs" genetics. I have fairly good calves, with absolutely no effort at all. My shoulders are also naturally wide. But god, I wish I had better neck genetics. heh. |

So you have no neck, eh? Fortunately for you, no one ever looks at a neck! |
| |||
I look at neck! Neck is VERY important. Small neck = bad. Big neck = good. Huge neck = bad. |
| |||
Hey hey! I killed this one too! I'm on a roll. |
| |||
I guess I'm the opposite of JP Fux... skinny everywhere, but I have a butt. BTW, you stole my name, Loopy! j/k |

Hmmm I don't think you need to have huge muscles in your legs so the 2 hour workout is not necessary, but just to give them some shape. Lot of guys look like little sticks and flabby thighs and butt, or worse they have no butt at all. I am a slender guy but my legs take shape fast much faster than my upper body. Maybe it is genetics. I knew a guy once had an awesome chest and great guns, but the skinniest flabbiest legs. He said he was worried about injuring himself so he never worked out any of his muscles in his lower body. Ah well that is my incohenerent 2 cents. |

Personally, a big ass = a big hole to go in. Here comes the train, choo choo! So it's kinda disapointing when I see a hot guy with a great bod (I see plenty of now) and yet no ass. |

Big Muscular Butt I don't know. Maybe it's just me but I think a big, muscular butt on a man is so freakin sexy. It looks athletic. It looks strong. And, for someone who was born without a butt, it makes it all the more enviable. So, I've worked on my butt for many of the past years and finally have something....though not fully there yet. At least, I fill out my posing suits now. Fortunately, my husband has one of those muscular butts that fulfills all my wildest fantasies <eg>. |
