Andrew's Enhancement: Background

This short story, which I will call Andrew?s Enhancement, is actually the last few chapters of a larger story I wrote, which I called The Big Adventure. That story was written from 1995-2003, but never quite finished. This story will finish that story and tell about Andrew?s enhancement all at the same time. The Big Adventure is actually the direct sequel to another story I wrote from 1990-1995, which was called Margaret?s Haunted House.

About 100 years ago, the humans in Transylvania were terrorized by all the mythical creatures: Witches, Warlocks, Goblins, and Ghosts. Margaret?s Haunted House starts in 1970, when one creature from each group moves to a big forest in Orillia, to escape persecution from the Transylvanian humans who are killing them in revenge. The four creatures find a small house in a giant clearing in the middle of a forest and decide to build it into a safe haven for other creatures. Since the creatures used to be technically advanced, they use that technology to power and defend the house, once they greatly expand its size of course. This is designed to protect the creatures from the humans who stole their technology and drove them out of Transylvania.

In the beginning of July 2005, right between Andrew Chapters 3 and 4, the Transylvanian humans finally find the Haunted House and attack it. This occurs while two kids from Orillia and their mother are visiting the Haunted House, as the first guests of Commander Marge and her assistant George. When the Transylvanian Metal Monster carries the Haunted House into space, the Translyvanian Space Station tries to blow it to pieces. Commander Marge and George manage to convince Thomas, the Station Commander, to stand down, but not before the House is critically damaged and plunges uncontrollably to Earth. Once the humans and creatures team together to save both the Hosue,a nd the Metal Monster that tries to save it, from destruction, the alliance between the Translyvanian humans and creatures is finally solidified.


This alliance forms about two days after Commander Marge advertises the Haunted House tour. She thinks of a pretty original way to advertise the tour; launching leaflets from orbit. She put a magic spell on each leaflet; therefore making sure that each leaflet would reach someone. One of families is Andrew Pearson?s and Steve Peterson and his family also get leaflets. Two of the leaflets drift to the North Pole, passing right over Alexander?s secret base. The back story of Alexander is explained in Version 1 of Andrew Part 13, which will be Chapter 25 or so of Version 2. Alexander decides to attack the Haunted House in the middle of the tour, but is driven off by Andrew and his friends. So Alexander comes back on the last day of the tour, which is July 17th. He has many battles with the Haunted House, Andrew and his friends, all of which culminates with one final confrontation on the Transylvanian Space Station.

The final battles goes well for Alexander at first, but then he gets overpowered and looks for escape. This is where Chapter 1 of Andrew?s Enhancement begins.

What a tangled web you weave. I found it a bit hard to follow, but it sounds like a story that can stand on it's own.
