Muscle Barbarian Drawings I seldom do sketches, but have started doing some for the last couple of days. As you can see, I need more practice. Still, they have got muscles, and some nice long hair to boot. (Okay, I want a little crazy with the hair on the 1st one.) Done from some pics in 90's muscle mags. Anybody actually recognize the models? PS: 1st one is darker because I used some charcoal on it. |

Wow I loved those, and i like massive men with long hair. Keep up the great work! __________________ There's no such thing as TOO BIG! |

Thanks Muscl4life. I think it was the hair that attracted to me to this pic, here's the original. |

Great work!!! Look forward to seeing more of your art work in the future |

Thanks Muscleboy. They are really just quick sketches for fun. I do enjoy seeing other people's muscle drawings, so maybe I can encourage more posters with my efforts. Here's today's sketch, along with the model pic. Broke out the watercolor pencils for this one - have to remember to use heavier paper; it was getting pretty soggy by the time I finished. |

Okay, one more version. After a little digital retouching, morphing and other fixing up, the barbarian is looking a little better ... except he now looks more beach boy than barbarian. Oh well, you take what you get. |

I loved it just as I loved the other versions. Don't worry, once you created this barbarian he still looks like a barbarian to me __________________ There's no such thing as TOO BIG! |

Barbarian and Friend Another quick sketch, this one with art markers. Perhaps you can tell I'm not too fond of doing pencil shading. |

Zoltan the Babarian Well, this started as a digital drawing, trying out some of the brushes I haven't used much. I liked the sword & the hair, but the rest of the drawing didn't come out too well, but I merged in some of the original photo to salvage it. Hope you like it. (The model is Zoltan Voros) |

Today's drawing, another long-hair for ya. I'm not sure the pose quite works, but he's supposed to be running - the original was a football scene. |
