Let me join in thanking cmiller for taking the burden on himself to create a new forum.

And let me again reiterate my thanks to flexodus for this forum. All things have a beginning and an end. It's the stuff in between that counts.

I'm really sad this is happening, I'll admit I didn't contribute a lot to this site, a story once and an rp session or two that was posted. But I joined this site a long time ago on another user name back when I was like 15. But thank you Flex for giving us such an incredible place.

Like many others, this website has meant a lot to me over the past years. Personally I always steer clear of online drama (and there's always been plenty of that here), so I can understand that you're sick of it all. After all, I have no idea what types of messages you receive personally.

Having said that, this came as a big surprise to me. This site has had a major impact on my life, so I'd hate to see it go. I'll always remember it, though, and I want to thank you for setting it up and maintaining it over the years.


I've seen long-standing online communities die before, and the 'void' they left behind was never completely filled by the new initiatives that sprang up after the collapse. It's a pity, but I guess all we can do is try our best to continue all the good things and to leave behind all the bad things, wherever the community ends up going.

FleXodus, thanks for all your hard work. Creating and maintaining a huge, multi-faceted community for 11 years must have been as draining as it was exhilarating. You have our warmest appreciation.

Having said that, is it possible to keep the site up but "frozen" (ie no new content added) until a transition is figured out?

Whoa! What a shock this morning to get online and see all this happening.
I'm a guy who understands that the only thing constant is change, and Flexodus you've done more than any of us could have expected you too.
You should be very proud of what you've accomplished here. Any real community becomes are intrinsic part of a persons life, so the sadness I see on here is warranted. All the best guys.

Additionally, cmiller, thanks for keeping things alive in the best way possible. This is obviously a group that wants to exist, so I'm sure things will take on a new life, thanks to your assertive generosity.

@FleXodus, thanks so much for maintaining this system for so long. It truly brought a lot of people together and I totally respect your decision to shut down. In the end this is something you've provided out of personal generosity and we thank you for that.

This site has been a bit quiet recently. Never thought that it will come to this. I really enjoy reading the stories here especially by Chris Cooper n Londonboy, not to mention jerking off from it... Thank you for the wonderful time that I spent here.
