American Freak: A Freak Follow Up, Part Four

Nathan was off the field and entering the lobby when he realized he was still naked. He stopped, gripped the acceptance slip between his lips and stepped into his pants. He hesitated before putting his shirt on. Maybe he wanted to show off a little. No. He pulled the shirt on.

He was going to Hollywood! They?d picked him to go to Hollywood and receive at least one treatment. He couldn?t believe his luck., especially after sporting a hard on while he was naked when being examined. How embarrassing. But he couldn?t stop it. The feel of the cool air on his exposed skin and the murmur of the crowd in the room and a complete stranger scrutinizing his body had just turned him on. It was strangely erotic to be so completely exposed and visible. That was almost as shocking as getting the go ahead to go to Hollywood!

He spotted Justin and Michael jogging toward him. Michael?s big pecs were bouncing up and down with every stride. Damn, Michael was hot. He could see a camera crew jogging right behind them.

?I?m going to Hollywood!? Nathan yelled. ?I?m gonna get at least one treatment! I?m fucking going to Hollywood!?

Michael grabbed Nathan in a big hug and Justin hugged them both. They were all talking at once, bubbling over with excitement and questions. The camera crew pointed the camera and microphone at the boys and slowly walked around them.

?You?re going? You?re really going? Oh, fuck, bro, you are so lucky. I told you, you?re the kind they?re looking for. You can get huge, bro, huge.?

?Nate, I?m so happy for you! You?re going to Hollywood. You?ll whoop all their muscle asses! And just think, you?ll be getting bigger. In a couple of weeks from now, you could be 20 or 30 pounds heavier with muscle.?

?I?m going to Hollywood! I?m gonna get some muscle!?

A cute guy with the camera crew introduced himself as an assistant producer with the show. He congratulated Nathan and started to interview him, Justin and Michael.

It was all a blur for Nathan. At some point the producer asked Nathan to flex, which he did, then asked all three of them to flex, which they did. Nathan?s flexed arm was smaller than both Justin?s and Michael?s. The producer seemed to really enjoy the fact, and kept coming back to in during the interview, that Nathan?s younger brother was more muscular than Nathan. And he liked that Nathan?s boy friend was an ?obchest?, with a bigger chest than Nathan.

Finally, the boys left the arena.

?Man, that was weird having that camera right there,? Nathan said.

?You better get used to it, Dear,? Michael responded, ?You?re going to be on national television. Those guys are going to be right in your face from the time you arrive in Hollywood until you win or get eliminated. And even after that, there?s going to be media all over the place.?

Michael was only partially right. The media showed up on Nathan?s door step that night. It was the local FOX affiliate wanting to cover the story of a local Bay Area man having been selected for the new FOX show, American Muscle Freak.

Nathan was surprised to see that the reporter, somebody who he?d only seen on TV, filmed from the waist up, was actually a quad obsessed muscle builder, commonly referred to as ?quadcessed?. The guy, otherwise a blown dry pretty boy type, had huge quads and prominent glutes that stretched the fabric of his dress slacks tight. Nathan could make out the ridges of the four different major muscles in the guy?s upper legs through the fabric.

Nathan?s father was barely civil to the reporter. He didn?t think much of his scrawny son being the one who got a chance to get big. He scolded Justin for not having signed up to audition. But he managed to sound vaguely supportive of Nathan for the camera.

The reporter had Nathan, his father and his brothers all line up, take off their shirts and flex their arms for the camera. Nathan was quietly mortified by the attention. But Justin told him he had to get used to it; this was just the start.

The reporter, like the producer from AMF, really liked that Nathan was the skinny, hard gainer in the family and made sure that Nathan was flanked by both his father and Justin, their buff bodies making Nathan look even skinnier in comparison. It was the reporter who pointed out that Gary, Nathan?s 12 year old brother had biceps the same size as his college aged brother. But he did end the story on the positive note that at the very least Nathan would get one dose of the Freak?s elixir, and could possibly even join their ranks.

Later that night, alone in his room, still unable to quite believe he?d been selected, Nathan reread the letter he?d been given:

Dear Future Muscle Man [and maybe even Muscle Freak!]:

Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in the American Muscle Freak competition. You are one of a select group of men who will be traveling to Hollywood, all expenses paid, to participate in the most unusual ?body building? contest ever conceived.

The American Muscle Freak competition will be televised live every week for 9 weeks. On the first show every contestant will be introduced to America and each will be given a dose of the Freak Growth Formula?. Each contestant will receive the same amount of Formula.

During the week, the contestants will experience the physical and emotional transformations that go along with turning into major muscle men. The transformations will be filmed. Six days later your growth will be revealed to America, live on television. It will operate like a standard body building competition. Our celebrity judges will offer their opinions and suggestions, but America will determine the results by telephone voting.

The next evening, the contestant receiving the lowest number of votes will be revealed and eliminated from the competition. The remaining contestants will then receive their next dose of the Freak Growth Formula?. This cycle will repeat each week until two contestants remain. Then the winner of the contest will be selected by the viewers by telephone voting.

The winner of the American Muscle Freak competition wins $1 million, and a final quick acting dose of the Freak Growth Formula?, their final transformation will be televised live. At the completion of the transformation the winner will be an undeniable Muscle Freak with the income and fame that goes with having the kind of body that the world can only dream of.

You could be that man!

A plane ticket will be couriered to you. Do not miss the plane. No need to pack much clothing. It won?t fit for very long and any other clothing will be provided to you free. You won?t want to wear much anyway. You will be met at LAX by representatives of the American Muscle Freak program and taken to the hotel by limousine. Should you be voted off the program, or otherwise have to leave, you are invited to remain in Hollywood to watch the remaining programs and participate in the final program. Everyone?s return flight is guaranteed.

The driver who met Nathan at the airport clearly worked for the show, and it wasn?t just his American Muscle Freak T-shirt that gave it away. He was a big guy, six feet tall with a small waist and big quads, a chest that would have given Michael a run for his pectoral money and arms the size of Nathan?s quads. His T-shirt was so tight, he may as well have been shirtless. The charcoal grey dress slacks were snug, but not obscene.

?Hang on, kid, there are two other?s coming today. One was supposed to be on your flight. There he is.?

Nathan turned to look and was surprised to see the young Black kid who?d been behind him in line. What were the chances that two of the contestants from San Francisco would have been in line together? Nathan introduced himself to the kid, whose name was Antoine, and to Antoine?s Grandmother, Mrs. Brady, who was his chaperone.

Nathan, Antoine and Mrs. Brady went into the restaurant and had a meal while they waited for the other two contestants to arrive. Antoine seemed like a really nice kid. He was being raised by his Grandmother who was a formidable woman, but sweet. They chatted for a while.

Nathan saw the beefy driver come into the restaurant with two other men. They came over and joined for a cup of coffee before they all left for the mansion. The two guys had arrived from Boston. Conner, 18, was taller than Nathan with similar proportions. He had a classic ?strawberries and cream? complexion with shocking red hair, cut short. Dressed in khaki?s and a blue button down shirt, he looked scrubbed and a little unsure of himself. His delicate, fine features seemed counter to his height. Gary, 32, was about the same height as Justin. Also skinny, he had brown hair, slightly curly with a pale olive complexion. Dressed in a pair of dark brown corduroy pants and a t-shirt with ?pitcher? across the chest, Gary was friendly and outgoing.

They all had taken the instructions about not bringing much to heart. Only Antoine?s Grandmother had a suit case. The rest of them carried only small carry on bags.

They piled into a black stretch limousine that looked big enough to carry a dozen people. Settling in to the leather seats behind the tinted windows, Nathan was excited and scared. This week would determine the rest of his life!

The cameras had been kept outside the terminal, but were all over the place once they left the building for the short walk to the limo. In the restaurant the driver explained that once they left the airport, everything that happened to them would be filmed for the show.

The limo cruised the freeway and got off in Hollywood and wound it?s way through traffic to the hotel. The four contestants chatted about where they came from and marveled at the sights.

Antoine was the most quiet, but obviously excited about being in a limo in Hollywood. Conner was a talker. Nathan thought he seemed like a nice guy, but wished he?d shut up. Gary, the oldest of the 4, seemed more interested in the other contestants, than the sights. He asked them questions and seriously listened to their responses.

Finally, the limo turned into the hotel and pulled to a stopped. The AMF cameras were there and the press were there, TV cameras and paparazzi all jostling for position as the 4 AMF contestants emerged from the limo like stars.
