| Hercules vs. Samson I caught an old movie on TV, "Hercules, Samson, and Ulysses". Kirk Morris plays Hercules, Richard LLoyd is Samson. They battle eachother and then team up to fight an evil king. Standard movie stuff of the era. The fight scene between the two titans was pretty cool: they toss huge boulders at eachother, and throw eachother against giant styrofoam walls - um, I mean stone walls - which crumble from the impact. While wrestling, they even twist metal bars around eachother. The big finale has the two of them working together to lift up an entire temple from its foundation and topple it. Hercules looked a little more ripped, but Samson had more mass to him. Samson looked bigger and more powerful to me. Samson:  Hercules:           |

| You just gotta love some of those old "muscle" movies. I have a couple with Steve Reeves--not much on plot or acting, but plenty to keep me entertained nonetheless. There have also been several good looking Tarzans, too. __________________ "You can never be too rich or too big!" |

| This film was shown over Christmas on the TCM channel Along with another film about the Spartan nation as well. Does anyone know why these films were made only in the 50's and why they seem to have gone out of fashion? |
