TV commercial

Has anyone seen the new Radio Shack commercial with Howie Long? He walks to his car as he talks on his new cell phone. His hands are so large it makes the cellphone look almost microscopic. Bet he suffers from the "Big man in a little man's world" syndrone

I wondered about that. I thought they just made it look small digitally. Boy, I can't wait to see that again.

Does anybody out there happen to have a video capture feature? That is if you happened to catch it on tape.

Brent, oh yeah its real. I have fairly average sized hands (a tad slender) and I'm stunned when I go to shake the hands of some of these bigger guys. I have to re-adjust my hand just to keep it from disappearing in the palm of these guys. So you figure a guy like Howie Long -exfootball player, standing 6'5" and probably still weighs in over 250 lbs, probably has the big boy mitts to match. and with cellphones getting smaller you can only bet behind the scenes, he probably chuckles about how he can barely press the buttons

Speaking of big guys, there is a big fella on a Sci-Fi channel original movie called "Encrypted" does anyone know his name? The movie wasn't the highest quality, but this big buck literally stands out in the group of soldiers (about 6'6" and 280 lbs of beefed up muscle) I especially loved a suble scene in the lower level of the building where he slightly ducks a doorway and everyone else has plenty of headroom when they pass through (it happens in a scene a little after the woman soldier gets killed)

Otto,
I just saw the ad again. Ol' boy's HUGE! He towers over the Radio Shack girl at the beginning, and his head sticks up out of the convertible Cadi (and those are big cars) at the end.

Yeah he's a big'un. They probably had him in the Caddy convertible because they can leave the roof open. In real life he'd be cursin the car because he would be bumping his head getting in and out, not mention his head would likely have trouble with the roof closed. I'm not sure how much musclesize he has dropped since playing football, but I wish I could have met him in person in those days. The announcers always made comments about his muscles. I couldn't help but to notice that he was built in the glutes department too

Re:Big guy in Encrypt

I'm not sure about his name but I looked it up on the Internet Movie Database once before so I would look there. I just checked there again while writing this. His name is Mathew G. Taylor and the character he played was King. Try their cast list; it has a bio on him. He does look HUGE in the movie!

Thumbs up

Thanks Cutlerfan, I only wish they had more info on this big fella:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0007092/
I remember seeing him a couple of times on Queer as Folk as well. But I don't seem to be able to find his height or weight anywhere.

I just did some digging myself and found the other guy I spoke of earlier. His name is Tony Kramer. The show he is on now is DIY Tools and Techniques - airs Sunday at 11:30am Eastern on DIY if any of you guys have it. I guess he does segments on the show (I assume his old partner Walter has retired).

You should recognize Tony as a handsome, dark haired, guy with a nice build.
At least I hope he still has those muscles

I don't think us Comcast customers can get DIY Network.

I know that face

Hi guys,

I saw the picture of that guy posted on IMDB. I recognized him from Queer as Folk (even before I saw it listed under his credits). He plays a porn star named Zach O'tool. You should check it out sometime, he rarely ever wears a shirt (or a real shirt anyways). This guy isn't just tall and heavy, he is ripped!!

He has absolutely huge muscles and it is often emphasized in the show when he stands next to the other cast members as he towers over them. He appears in both season one and season two. In season one, he is hired to strip and give a blow job to Emmett. He walks into the apartment and takes off his shirt... HOT SCENE!!

If you haven't seen Queer as Folk, go to the video store and rent the DVD which has that particular episode. (Episode 13).
