Question How to tell which is which

I just wonder how you guys can tell which supplements works, or just over-priced hype? Give some tips on how to spot the real deal, & how to avoid getting 'suckered' for buying useless junk that might otherwise do more damage than good.

One of my own way to check out whether a product been approved & certified by FDA.

I also remembered a post that if the product had been in the market for over one & half years, it's should be considered a good deal.

What do you say? P.S, I DON'T need product recommendations.

Check out "Muscle, Speed, and Lies" by David Lightsey - he breaks it down. Basically you don't really know unless you track down the published results from studies with the supplement in question. Supplement companies have a solid history of blatantly misrepresenting results from studies.

Which supplement are you looking at?

There are lots of worthwhile supplements out there, but the key is that they are SUPPLEMENTS not meal replacements. Good nutrition is by far the most important aspect of bodybuilding. Creatine is a fine, protein powders are great, but good healthy nutrition has to be the backbone of any successful program.
