Keep Posts To Appropriate Forums, Please!

OK, I've held back posting this for a long time, hoping the problem would resolve on its own. (And because I recognize the hypocrisy and inherent contradiction in posting a "please stop posting off-topic messages" off-topic message.) I was hoping it was nothing more than the occasional new member who would realize their mistake once they spent more time on the site and began to follow the example of others, but that's happening.

Plus, it's NOT just one person, or I'd just send a private note... in fact, the problem is growing, as MORE members are following the bad example of the initial culprit(s). So, once and for all, a general reminder of the purpose of this forum section, as it shouldn't be so difficult for people to figure out.

As the bleedin' FORUM NAME clearly states, this section of the site is for TRANSCRIPTS of chat & role-playing sessions!!

There's already a whole other forum in the Community section, Chat Buddies, for connecting with other members who're interested in chatting. And it's been VERY ACTIVELY USED for exactly that purpose for years, as anyone can see from the postings there.

So, everybody, please stop migrating the chat-hookup requests here! Go find somebody to chat with in the PROPER FORUM, and post the results in this one! This forum is ONLY FOR POSTING TRANSCRIPTS.
