2000 members?

I just noticed that according to the stats at the bottom of the forums page, we're at 1,992 members...You sort of don't notice how many muscle freaks there are out there, even though the stories and posts keep building up...but 2000 is quite a bit....

Now, if I could only convince every one of you to send me a $10 gift when my birthday comes this month, I'll be extra happy....

Well, I'm not sure if that is 2000 actually ACTIVE members, but heck, it's still pretty neat to think about.
I used "neat," so sue me.
But more importantly, I'd say that a large portion of those people are at least active enough to visit the fora occasionally. I wish more would be more involved (this coming from me, among the top-10 posters....), but this board is still pretty damn good with what active members it DOES have.

Hey, sex:

I hate to nit-pick at your obvious latin supremacy, but I do have a question.

Since the location of MGS is singular (one URL), wouldn't 'forum' still be appropriate usage? I'll grant that the discussion may be varied, but we still gather at one spot to participate. Of course, since we're not congregating anywhere per se, either the singular or plural may be accurate.

Well, it sort of depends.
Now that I think about it, you are probably quite correct.
See, I was always thinking of it as ONE board that breaks down into MULTIPLE fora; but looking at what a forum really is, I should probably just switch the words around in my old definition so that it's ONE forum that breaks down into MULTIPLE boards or some such thing.
Thanks for pointing that out bro!

One thing to think about is that many people might sign up, forget their name/password, then sign up again later. So 2,000 may not truly be 2,000.

2000 or 10, I don't care, but thanks to everyone who is posting regularly. It just took me about 20 minutes to read through all the new posts. I remember the days just last year when I'd login and see only one or two new posts!!

What's your sleep number?

Summer tends to be slow. Last Summer this forum was only getting a few new posts each week. The main thing I remember about last Summer was a dialog with otto about Lindsay Wagner's ability to sell gimmicky beds. So I now try to post a couple things each day, so there will be at least something newish.

Not being a Latin scholar, I am unfortunately unable to comment on the great forum v fora debate, although I'm tempted to go for forum on the basis that MGS seems to be one collective forum with a multitude of sub fora catering for a plethora of interelated interests and fantasies. Anyway, a couple of observations. I'm loving the pic that comes up with Claygrants profile, very nice arm, wish it was mine, and guy who wants money, I will take some convincing to send you $10 for your birthday, but everything is possible. Let me know what you intend to do. Let me get my hands on your 26" guns and I might even send you ?10 instead! lol

Then who's arm is it? Do they need it back? I know I'd miss it if that was my arm...

Brent, I have no idea. I saw the pic on a muscle pic forum and immediately grabbed it. Definitely one of my favorite pics.

Yes brother Clay, that IS a huge arm!!
Be sure to keep pumping out those workouts! (and maybe find a super muscle growth potion ?)
I think you'd look great in a set of muscles like that!!

The only magic potion I know of is hard work. One workout after another. Eventually you will look like that soon enough. I believe in you.
