i've noticed, that whenever yu-gi goes into a duel, his voice gets extremely deep(from a 7 yr old to a 21 yr old man) and hegrows like an extra 2 feet tall. it is soooooooooo weird

When I saw the topic Yu-Gi-Ho i thought you were talking about about some porn movie or something!

Anyways, I may be declared a nerd for knowing this, but Yu-Gi doesn't go through some transformation, it's more like another spirit provided by that necklace he wears around his neck with the large guage chain. So that older Yu-Gi is just the older, wiser Yu-Gi who knows more about dueling than almost anyone in the series. It's confusing, but it's also a kid's show, so they can leave out plot lines but as long as it involves trading card's the kids will open their hearts to it.

Though that does bring up a pretty cool idea... what if there was a story about a guy who was really lanky but finds this weird necklace that allows him to get huge and change back as he pleases. I wouldn't doubt if it's already been done, though.

that would be cool, sort of like that story on MTZ but with a necklace. What if it could make any part of your body grow. He could transport the powers to other people if he wanted to to make them get taller or any part of their body grow. that would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's kinda like a story I read once, but overall very different. In fact, the only thing that was actually similar was the concept of a necklace being involved.

Anyway, "older Yugi" is actually the spirit of the Pharoah that defeated the evil magicians in Egypt a few thousand years ago. Yugi is (supposedly) the descendant of the Pharoah, and Seto Kaiba is the descendant of the Pharoah's enemy. Little Yugi doesn't actually transform, but the animation is to show that the Pharoah sort of takes over, I think. The dialogue throughout the series is fairly ambiguous on the that point.

Interestingly enough, there are other Millenium Items: the Puzzle, the Eye, the Ankh, the Ring, the Scales, the Necklace, and the Rod. The Puzzle simply contains the spirit of the Pharoah, but the abilities of the others are...

Eye: Read people's minds.
Ankh: See into a person's heart and personality, and change the personality if the user desires.
Ring: Contains the soul of a tomb robber, and has the ability to steal others' souls and seal them within objects.
Scales: Like in Egyptian mythology, a feather is placed on one scale and the heart of the person on the other. If heart is heavier than the feather, the person is devoured by by a monster.
Necklace: Look into the (near) future.
Rod: Take control of people.

Anyone interested in writing a story about muscle domination might be interested in a few of those items, like the Ankh or the Rod

Well, like I said, Yugi technically doesn't transform into a whole other person. Yami, another name for the Pharoah, is part of Yugi's mind. The so-called "transformation" is just to show that the Pharoah has taken over. People do act like they don't notice what happens, but at other times it is clear that characters know they're talking to Yami, and not Yugi. As I said before, the series doesn't make it all that clear.

Has anyone out there seen "Extreme Dodgeball" on the Game Show Network?
If you haven't, let me be the first one to mention that they have one HUGE MOTHER on one the teams(BarbellMafia)!! His name is Jeremy Freeman, he's 6 foot tall and weighs in at 290 of pure unadulterated muscle!!
If you think dodgeball was wild as a kid, you should see this big musclestud throw the ball--I swear it looks like its going to go through the wall sometimes!!
But I have to admit, it is full of surprises, sometimes the puny,weak and or chubby looking guys/gals catch the ball and win!

Hell that reminds me to mention this theres a show on t.v dodgeball challange something like that where teams go off against each other like as in a real sport and there a team called the bodybuilders of something. there so big I mean huge.Bigger than most morphed pics.

well actually while on the topic of yu-gi-oh, the pharoh's enemy wasn't Kaiba's past life incarnation. In their past lives Kaiba was actually the Pharoh's friend who later turned out to be his brother. the enemy back then was Bakura, who you mentioned is a tomb robber and is now trapped within the millenium Ring. and even then it's kinda ambiguous because even though Bakura's clearly the villian at that time, the other priest the one who possessed the Millenium Eye turned against the pharoh and sided with Bakura, of course this happened after Bakura tried ripping the millenium eye out of the poor guy. But yea, also it should be noted that technically even Bakura isn't a villian as the Millenium Items were created by sacrificing the lives of everyone from his villiage so he was just out for revenge. So it's not so much that they leave out the details it's just that you have to wait a while to get to the infortmation you really want to know

I always wonder who comes up with these decisions. Is it just a creative idea or is someone up top a muscle fan or someone aware that putting in hunky characters will bring in a particular subset of viewer. Of course I'm out of Yugi's target demographic (thank goodness) but I'd almost suffer an episode to see that guy.

If this were a live action show I'd be GLUED to the set.
