it's worth reading the comments further down the page. I agree with the roster of posters who claim the article is doctored and reminiscent of 'reefer madness' style drug scare tactics. Too many things don't add up upon further analysis of the article and the pictures. Come on, this community of all people should know better than to take it at face value |

That type of acne is Acne conglobata and can be caused by anabolic-androgenic steroid abuse. Steroid abuse represents a small number of cases of AC. I'm also not sure who would let AC get that bad before they attempted to treat it. I would think acne like that would outweigh the benefits of using steroids and that person should probably be screened for mental illness. Melnik B, Jansen T, Grabbe S.
