Übermensch

Here's an idea for someone to run with.

A college student meets a muscular new classmate from somewhere in Europe, maybe Germany. The foreign student's parents are transhumanist geneticists who altered his DNA so that each physical attribute (strength, endurance, vision, etc.) is superior to those around him. In short, this young godling is an Übermensch, believed to be the next evolution in humanity. His body also produces the necessary genetic material to turn an ordinary person, male or female, into an Übermensch. The Übermensch-making retrovirus is created by his testes and spread by his sperm and pre-cum.

Übermensch... an Überteen? Just like Bruno's Überteen story?

No, you did not, well maybe there is a story similar, but not the same. In "Rise of the Überman" it's stated that a normal human transformating into a Über by drinking or being in contact with Über sperm or other body fluids is yet to be seen, while in your story idea you clearly state this Übermensch can, with the help of retroviruses produced in their testicules can change normal man.

On the other side, while ideas similar to this have been made a story, the amazing thing about literature is that you can part from one idea, and from that point develop as many stories as you want, even with the same characters, without repeating the same. This is due to changes in structure, point of view, writting style, the dialogue, the settings or the way you show conflict on a story.

With the unlimited capacity of the human mind and human imagination it's impossible to say that the same story can't be told differently twice.

Actually, Ubers are more of a "gotta be born as one" type. Bruno implies they are a new evolution of mankind. The only part that's similar between this idea and Bruno's is the Uber part.

Übers? The more the merrier!

I personally don't think this plot is exactly like mine, sure it features about massively huge men with special genetic features, but I actually wrote my own story based on premises I've previously read - and just like it has been mentioned before, we can always create our own universe from classic ideas, if you like that theme, go ahead and write about it - the only problem is that I already took the Über thingy for me sorry about that!

Good luck with your story

I really like this idea. The fact that the Ubermensch is from another country could add a neat "fish out of water" quality to the tale. I hope you decide to write it.
