Giant Boy in Food of the Gods 2

There was a small scene in the movie Gnaw : Food of the Gods 2 .

A doctor is called by a colleague to assist with a child who became gigantic after being treated with an experimental growth formula .

The problem is that the kid keeps growing and the formula has a side effect -- mainly high aggression & violent behavioral traits .

It starts from 3:57 to 6:28 .

The whole clip is 10 mins long .

I think the premise of the formula , giant carnivorous rats was going too far . The story could have been focused more on the boy and a possible cure .

The [COLOR=#ffff00]ONLY[/COLOR] other time you see the boy was at the last 3 mins of the movie . It was a giant hand killing a nurse and a giant gaping hole in wall showing his escape . The conclusion was that the boy grew again and was too much for the other doctors to contain .

Freakin Hot Idea!! But your right they should have focused more on the boy!! I would have loved to seen him grow even more in that scene! And of course it would have been even hotter if he was a teenager

Oh and I think someone should totally steal this idea and make it into a story. Of course make him older or have the formula accelerate his age to where he's a man or late teens. Those are always fun stories

I'd love to read that. But don't forget about the MG, gotta have plenty of that.

The idea in general is kind of a macro-hyperpuberty, with violence. While original movie seems to be a more sci-fiesque (with swearing) version of the old story, "Monster Blood."

actually, somebody did write the story, about 90 years ago: h.g.wells wrote "food of the gods", and this clip is from a movie loosely based on the story. for the purposes of this board, however, the story isn't about strength and growth, but the folly of science without conscious.

Wasn't there also something in either this movie or the one before it, with a doctor who had grown the rats or something and he had a dream he was having sex with a nurse and when he looked down he had grown huge and the nurse was screaming from his dick growing too big inside her? I think I read that somewhere. Anyone seen the movie? Even though it's probably cheesy horror films aren't for me.

I've seen the movie. I remember the scene you described. Most of it is on YouTube but that scientist growth sex scene is not there! I suspect that they removed that part because the woman is naked but I think they could have left it in. The giant hand that caresses the woman's chest looks surprisingly close to the giant hand that kills the lady at the end. I felt that the scientist would take the formula to keep the kid from hurting others and that he hoped to control his anger like the Hulk. It didn't happen and the movie ends suddenly. The fake hand was a real disappointment .

Unfortunately , they don't make movies like this anymore . Now it's CGI .

Futher more in Part 1 of Food of the Gods , the last scene was a growth substance ended up in milk which school children were consuming . ( In part 1 , there were giant insects .)


It would be interesting to see a continuation of the giant kid .

Or perhaps a prequel to show how he grew and the damage he inflicted .
