A couple of years ago, the Danes did a documentary on jealousy and embarrassment. In one segment, they went to a school and pulled a boy out of class to tell him the headmaster wanted to see him. They did this several times to various boys who were sixteen and seventeen year olds.

The boy pulled out of the class was asked to wait in a room where there were a couple of chairs facing each other. Obviously the cameras were hidden. As the boy waited to be interviewed, they had a young bodybuilder aged seventeen walk in wearing just his posing trunks and sit in the other chair. I think he was teenage Mr Denmark. Anyway he was a staggering sight and casually said he'd been pulled from the school gym.

The reactions from the boys who were confronted with this young muscleman ranged from jealousy to embarrassment. Some pretended he wasn't even there. At one point the bodybuilder stood up and posed and asked what the other boy thought, telling him he'd just turned seventeen. Answers came back like, "OK I suppose" to total shocked and amazed looks. I was in a hotel and couldn't tape it. I wish I had that video!
