Here be me I've lurked for long enough on this site so I thought I'd post my progress. I'm 29 now and have been working out on and off for the past 10 years or so. I'm a real hardgainer and have to work real hard and eat an absolute ton to gain any size at all. I'd love to get much bigger but life and my metabolism seem to work against me. Any advice is welcome. pics: http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee283/wishville/ |

Very nice pics man. Good definition all over. The first question I have though is, what does your eating look like. From what I cna tell, you have the lifting part down, although some adjustments might have to be made, but if you are a hardgainer, we should look at your diet. Protien and fucktons of it will be your best friend obviously. But, without knowing how much you're taking in now, not sure what we will have to do. Be warned, if you are really really serious about gaining, there are some really extreme gainer diets. I'm talking about setting an alarm for 2 am so you can wake up to drink a protein shake and go back to sleep. Hopefully, you won't need anything that extreme, but keep that in the back of your mind. First things first, let's see what you're taking in. |

Regardless of you dificulties, your in great shape already. I don't have too much beyond what xythan_shadow said. I agree, lots of protein is usually the best rule to follow. |

Great Results So Far Thanks for posting your pics. I was going to ask what your current stats were but I went to your bigmuscle link. Are those stats accurate? You look much bigger than 126 lbs. Xythan had great advice. Your lifting definitely shows. As for eating, healthy snacks (e.g. nuts & dairy) should be onhand to supplement your meals. Good luck with your continued growth. |

I haven't checked my bigmuscle stats for a while so they my be a little off but not by much. As for diet, I don't have any routine and generally just try to eat lots of protein and as much as I can. I find it really hard to eat often enough and enough with each meal. I should really get some supplement shakes. Xythan, what adjustments to my lifting would you recommend? |

Need more specifics to say. Without knowing what you're doing right now, I can't really give ya any advice. But, a few basic things are universal, like unless you have a pre-existing condition, there is no excuse for you not to do squats, deadlifts and bench. Forget about how much weight you're lifting and focus more on doing it right. It's always easier to grow when you're lifting with proper form. Heavier weights come later. Don't let your ego convince you to do something and end up hurting yourself. A min of idioticy can keep you out of the gym for months. |

Uh . . . . . okay, you look really great! You have a very muscular body with a tremendous set of abs. Are you a redhead? I can't tell. All I can say is, keep up the progress because it is working for you. Eat eat eat! |
