The music you're looking for is called "Sailor's Hornpipe" - do a Google search, I came up with links to MIDI and MP3 versions - sheet music and tons of other references...

Popeye bonanza

This past Friday Boomerang cable channel did a 24 hour marathon of Popeye cartoons. He is their character of the month. I did manage to get a few of my favorites on my DVD recorder, including the great "How Green is my Spinach", where Bluto beats the crap out of Popeye after destroying his spinach, and "Barking Dogs don't Fight", where Killer, Bluto's dog makes mincemeat of Olive Oyl's dog, Frenchie and Bluto beats Popeye in a spring like lamp post wrapped around his body. Also got "For Better or Nurse", where Popeye makes Bluto eat his spinach, and his already oversized muscles get even bigger.

Some woodie inducing stuff there for us muscle fanatics. Now I'm trying to figure out how to convert them to windows medie or other format files for the computer.

"For Better or Nurse" is one of the hotter Popeye cartoons, because it's Bluto who get the muscle-building action.

For years I wondered why I got so turned on from cartoon muscle, until I realized it was the whole concept of "muscle growth" that did it for me. Now I embrace it.

I always thought it was cool that Popeye's biceps would have a battleship or explosion picture on them when he flexed them after eating his spinach. Would love to see someone with the appropriate biceps size have a tattoo similar. (Maybe me someday.)
