Dave Barry: Today I bench pressed 4,082,331.33 centigrams! Dave Barry: Today I bench pressed 4,082,331.33 centigrams! I started lifting weights. But not for the reason you think. You think I want to look "cut" and "ripped" and have bulging muscles like the ones on male underwear models, who for some reason are always shown posing outdoors, looking sullen, as if a group of even more muscular models stole their pants. is my math correct? If I'm right, this would be about 41 kg, or about 100 pounds. Am I right? I like that bit about male models always looking sullen... it bugs me too. __________________ God is in the rain. |

Lol..... Dave Barry is one of my perpetual favorites. Did anyone else read his entire series about covering the Olympics? I was grabbing the morning paper just to see what he would be saying! |

good God I feel dumb. Here I am doing conversions in my head instead of clicking on the link to read the article. This was F**cking hysterical! Sometimes I itch after using the jacuzzi. I always thought it was the chlorine drying out my skin, but now I know the truth: I must have a worm in my brain! __________________ God is in the rain. |

Numbers can prove anything! 4,082,331.33 centigrams is only the same as 40,823.3133 grams or to put it another way 40.8kg. I could just as easily say that a friend of mine from the Lebanon can bench press 11,453 ounces |
