Little things add up Hey all, Well, I've started training with a lifting partner again. Met him at my gym, and we fell into lifting together a couple of times a week -- for chest day and legs day. And the intensity I've been able to get that way has produced a nice little growth spurt. And while I haven't been on the scale much, I know I'm growing because I've started a notice a few little things. Like this week, I was putting on my jeans after a particularly hard-hitting leg workout. And they were noticeably tighter than they were when I took them off. Always gratifying. And later in the week, I was putting on a tshirt to go out and I could feel it stretching across my lats in a new way. It's these little things that give me hope and keep me lifting hard. James, it's great that you've found a new workout partner. I think it helps a LOT to have someone pushing you. I can't wait to get my pants feeling tight, or for lats to stretch my shirts. Congratulations! __________________ God is in the rain. |

massingup, you sound stoked and rightfully so! How about your lifting partner? Has he mentioned any sudden growth spurt?? I predict great things in both of your futures. Since you met at the gym you probably have a similar workout schedule so you'll be liftin together for a good while! |
