"Obsessed" on A+E

Tonight was the debut episode of an "Intervention" type series involving people trying to overcome anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders. One of the people working to overcome this was Scott, who was a germaphobe and wanted to get over it in order to make room for a new man in his life, Jason. I thought I recognized Scott in some way, but I knew Jason was the former Colt model Gage Weston. I knew Jason's profile was on BigMuscle, and from his I found Scott's also:

I noticed his profile has a private email, and I wish I could send him a note of encouragement. I got a little choked up at the end when he wanted people to realize how lonely his OCD made him and others like him. At the same time, I have to wonder if his OCD is also responsible for his incredibly fit body. Anyone else get to see it?

Could be, OCD seems to have odd ways of showing it self.

How could they get through that entire episode without acknowledging the fact that Scott looks like he could bench press a Buick!

I've gotta see this episode! An episode of any show featuring hot muscle men is one thing

, and it's another if those hot muscle men are also gay

, but an episode of a show featuring hot muscle men who aren't being portrayed as "hot muscle men" but as actual human beings with flaws and feelings and souls? I'm so there.

And they're gay too! Even if it's a guy with OCD we need more images like this in the media of gays rather than of fashion whores and best-friends of Kathy Griffin.

Anglekindle, you're the best! I had no idea A&E had whole shows available online until now.

Scott looks AMAZING and in one of the very first shots of him he wears nothing but a towel. WOOF! But he also seems very sad. It's weird tosay but even his home reflects his germaphobia. Very clean, of course, but also very sparse and very white. The bed is brown but he never sleeps in it. How awful! I just started watching the episode but I hope his treatment goes well.

And I'll mention quickly that Helen, the other person being featured, looks an awful lot like Rosie O'Donnell. The resemblance is striking.

How did he get those tattoos if he's that afraid of germs? I wouldn't have wanted to be there when that happened

Could be that something weird happened to him induced that fobia after he got the tats. or maybe he had a few too many and had a little liquid courage flowing through him when he got them. I was in a nasty wreck some years back while turning left without the benifit of a light or a 4 way stop (pulled out infront of a guy running almost 20 over the limit, and Mom recieved most of the major injuries too

) and still get a little skitish when trying to make another turn like that 10 years later.

I am kinda suprised that he's in construction and actually goes to an open to the public gym while being a germaphobe though. I'm really feeling sorry for Helen too, that really seems to have screwed things up for her.

Of course we know that. These things get filmed far ahead of their release dates. I spoke to Scott, and he said the show took a lot out of him, but he's very glad that it's helping other people.
