Donald Gibb

Well, this weekend, I was really REALLY bored, and I got "stuck" on some TV channel showing Revenge of the Nerds, and this is the first time I had saw this movie. There was this huge dude in the movie that was referred to as "Ogre" who was played by Donald Gibb.

The best pic I could find.....

This picture does not really outline how big this guy is. If anyone has a better picture of this guy, please do post it!

I don't have any other pictures of this guy, but I could swear that he is one of the Viking warriors in those Capital One commercials...specifically the one where the cosmetician is applying makeup to his face. If that is not him he certainly has a double!

Hi WhoDunIt,

Yes, I just found out it is him, and actually I just finished watching the movie "Hancock" with Will Smith and he is in that movie as well. He was in the prison group therapy scenes. Boy he has gotten big in his more mature years.

You're right! the wikipedia article for him notes that:
Quote:
He is also currently portraying a pillager in the Capital One (credit card) "Pillagers" commercial series. In the commercials, you can spot him as the pillager who smashes the musician's violin at a dinner table, or being told by a make-up artist that "you are definitely an Autumn," or as the pillager who breaks the lobsters open with a war mace.
