looks pretty damn good to me cai! My only concern about putting a 'sig or an avatar like that on your profile is that some people might think that's you! (not really a bad mistake to make necessarily).... of course... maybe it is you? |

Using Google to look up "definition avatar" one gets this: From the Sanscrit for the incarnation of Godhead, an avatar is the 'body' you 'wear' in a virtual community - an animated, articulated representation of a human which represents you, the user, in any virtual environment. Some of the more sophisticated chat rooms provide the facility to 'chat' over the 'net via the visual representation of interacting human forms. www.pads.ahds.ac.uk:81/glossary.html A digital representation of a user in a virtual reality site. www.intermark.org/im-glossary.html A graphic or pictorial representation of a user in a 3-D chat area. Usually chosen by each user, the avatar can be an animal or caricature. www.net5.com/terms-dictionary.html An avatar is a graphical representation of a person, which you can use in some 3D style chat rooms. Each person in the chat room chooses an avatar to represent themselves. www.geocities.com/mikemaitland/glossary.htm An image that represents a user, particularly in Chat. Back to Top support.sbcglobal.net/general/662.shtml an incarnation of a god or goddess www.manilsuri.com/glossary.htm Whereas using Google to look up "definition signature" yields this: "... Text added to the bottom of an article or e-mail to give the reader more information about the poster. Signatures can include e-mail and Web addresses, quotes, text art, and more, though signatures should not be longer than 4 or 5 lines. ..." So an idealization of yourself in an avatar would seem to be permissible but less so in a signature. It all depends on how obscure a user wants to be. Given that this is a fetish site, some people would probably not want to divulge more than their interest in the fetish. If there is an intention to deceive I'd be wary of meeting the person. If not, then the truth should be told when necesssary regardless of the effect it might have. |

Cai, it looks great! One thing to consider is everytime you post it'll show that signature image, so it'll make people scroll more if you posted a lot on a particular thread. |

I tried adding it and it just leaves the link But I guess I could do an avatar, or just leave the link in my signature. Glad you guys like it! |
