I hope this isn't wrong of me to say it, it's been talked about on some bodybuilding forums before, I don't want to sound like gossiping or anything. Not safe for work: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...1028101&page=3 (just a warning: lots of assholes in that thread) |

You can see how Golias looks, unPhotoshopped, in this vid: http://mdtv.musculardevelopment.com/...ig-golias.html bulkybud |

The latest pic from Craig |

So it seems apparent that his body dismorphia extends to his entire internet persona. I'm not thinking that's a bad thing, but I hope he doesn't hurt himself because of it. NOLAmitch __________________ "Faith is believing what you know ain't so." ~ Mark Twain BUILT by TallSteve Blog |

don't think Craig will ever get far in competitive bbing, he's got very strange build, he's huge tho, and that's still hot, |
| |||
| |||
Bear, I...THINK he's taking the pic himself...kind of doing something like a front lat spread and then turning the near forearm just enough to aim the camera up from just above the hip. That weird dip in his near arm (I thought it was a morphing flaw at first) looks like the inside of his elbow with the biceps stretched a little because of the twist of the forearm. I get the same strange shape when I try the position so that's my shot at an explanation. The angle makes his head look to small for his body, but, considering that's a consistent pose/position for him, I think that's he's going for the pinhead look a lot of the time...maybe he thinks it makes him look bigger and I guess it does to some extent. Agree with you Suma...the taller we are, the harder it is to get the mass (310-ish isn't going to do it for a 6'3" bodybuilder) let alone get the mass in the right proportions to win much...a lot of tall musclemen still look kind of lanky even with some heavy muscle. Huge isn't big enough when you're over 6'2 or 3"...you need HYOOOOOGE (say 375 to 400 POUNDS of HYOOOOOGE) to look as thick and massive as the 5'10" competitors and then getting the proportions (i.e. a waist vs a gut to support all that mass) is no easy feat. The only major drawback to being tall IMHO...but we can dream. |

Lucas, that's not exactly what I meant. I'm all for tall bbers and if I was the judge the tall guys would win every time, guys like Schlierkampf, J Freeman, Bothias, Noah Steere, Sean Allan But Craig just has an odd shape, his arms, his pecs, other parts as well just look weird, hard to pinpoint it. |
| |||
Suma, not saying tall men can't get there. It's just harder for them to get there if they don't have the genetics or the right training program. I'm not sure what Craig's issue is, but I agree...something is off. He's huge but still looks lanky in some pics and out of proportion in others (personal opinion). You named some of the big guys that did make things work. Todd Jewel is another. |
| |||
Oh and how did I forget Scott Milne, he should have won every contest he entered. Even tho he is quite tall but he filled out his frame very well and conditioning was dead on, dry & ripped. I don't know what the judges are looking for? |
| |||
Okay here you go, a more accurate look at Craig. Good flexing at the end, he really does have a strange and unique build, which will probably keep him from doing great in the bodybuilding compettions, but something about it is...for lack of a better word...hot. http://mdtv.musculardevelopment.com/...ig-golias.html |

"I like to warm up with incline db flyes with a light weight, so I start with the 80s to 100s and do about 10 reps, then I go up to the 120s or 130s..." *Gulp!* I can so NOT relate to those kind of poundages referred to as "light"! Awesome mass -- he's up to 305, 310# in this video. I'd much rather look at someone with his proportions - huge chest shoulders and arms, nice v-taper, no gut, than some of the "working" pros who look like blocks --like Cutler or Greene. Almost like a different species of human -- homo hyper-muscularensis! In his natural habitat -- among the heavy weights! Mdlftr |

OMG he fills out this shirt, no denying he's huge few more http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...raig0547_n.jpg http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...raig2774_n.jpg http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...85803560_n.jpg |

God Suma, You've found some GREAT pictures of Craig Golias! He is just a mass MONSTER! Awesome shoulders, arms and chest! He'd look like a morph except for the fact that you can see where he had surgery around his nipples -- probably to remove the gyno! Still, he's got the genetics, the hard work and the committment! I even respect him for more or less acknowledging that he has "exercised every option" let's say, in his quest to get HYOOGE! He's awesome! Mdlftr |
| |||
glad you like Mdlftr now if only he'd do mw |
| |||
Right! I mean he obviously doesn't really care about a serious Bodybuilding career. He might as well put his body to good use. I know I'd buy a CraigGolias worship video and I never buy videos. |
| |||
He could become extremely rich if he ever went that route because the man has supernatural genetics. His muscles are so wide and dense that they don't look real. He is exactly what the majority of men on this forum want to either become or worship. __________________ Blogger: http://whitepapermusclestories.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: http://whitepapermuscle.tumblr.com/ Wordpress: http://whitepapermuscle.wordpress.com/ |

If his chest gets any bigger, he won't need to use his hands to hold that dog in that spot! Last edited by WhoDunIt; August 24th, 2012 at 09:12 PM. Reason: Wrong pic |

CRAIG GOLIAS: THE BEGINNING GETTING FREAKIER 2007 THEN FREAKIER IN 2010 And now I present to you a current freak.... That last photo craig had posted a comment with it: #fuckskinnygethuge isn't only about getting massive but means setting a goal and having the determination and desire to do what ever it takes to accomplish it!!!! I was very skinny growing up and was very self-conscious about myself so I went to the gym to add a little size, and get shredded abs. As I grew and grew my self esteem started to raise and I became obsessed with wanting to ad even more lean muscle mass. 3 years into training I put on 100 pounds NATURALLY going from 150-250 at the age of 22!!!!! from there on, my goals were set and I knew I wanted to become a bodybuilder!!!! So if you want to accomplish a goal of wining mr.olympia, or just be the biggest guy in the gym, don't let any one tell you you can't!!! Just go for it and use the hate as fuel!!!!! DO WHATEVER IT TAKES!!!!! That gentlemen, is my kind of man!! __________________ Visit my tumblr to see my inspiration @ http://www.tumblr.com/blog/grwfkr |

He is phenomenal and I know he is trying to get as big as possible, but I wonder if he will do what Greg Kovacs did and die early! I hope not but I guess we can enjoy his accomplishments for now! __________________ Blogger: http://whitepapermusclestories.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: http://whitepapermuscle.tumblr.com/ Wordpress: http://whitepapermuscle.wordpress.com/ |

If only he'd get into the world of muscle worship and I could just rent him for an hour! He does live in Las Vegas you know. Here's to wishful thinking |
| |||
He's done muscle worship at least once, with a friend of mine. |

Are you thinking out loud?! "I wonder if he will do what Greg Kovacs did and die early!" Greg Kovacs didn't drop dead on purpose! You make it sound like he chose to drop dead of heart attack! I think you are trying to suggest that such huge size does not correlate well with longevity. Yes, THAT'S true. |

Uh yeah what you said Tim. I thought that is what i said but I guess it came across vaguely. __________________ Blogger: http://whitepapermusclestories.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: http://whitepapermuscle.tumblr.com/ Wordpress: http://whitepapermuscle.wordpress.com/ |
