muscle men on Malcom in the Middle

Did anyone see Malcom in the Middle on FOX TV last night? I only saw the last 10 minutes, but the story included this group of incredibly thick muscle men that followed around the character 'Hal' (the somewhat dim witted father of the family). These guys were all incredibly HUGE, wearing just shorts, and were greased up so much they shined. I didn't see enough to understand the plot, but I believe the joke was that these guys were not very smart and Hal could teach them simple tasks. But it didn't matter what they said; they were amazing to look at.

Hey JRB,

Just a note that there will be a national bodybuilding meet at the Dallas Convention Center this next weekend. Since you are in Dallas, I thought that might be of interest.

I think that most of the country (US at least) saw only the last 10 minutes or so of that episode. The football game that preceeded it ran long--as seems to happen a lot these days...

I'm sure we will all have a chance to catch the entire episode in reruns--which probably start early next month the way television seasons run these days!

Hey Guys! Why not just download the episode?

got to suprnova.org (not com or net, they're scams)

click on TV Shows and then find malcolm in the middle
this episode is #6x02

get the file that has HDTV (high def. TV) in the title and that has high numbers in the right columns (higher numbers mean faster download)

it should be 175MB

once you have the little file, just double click on it to start downloading

if you don't have the bittorent client download it at
bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/

I downloaded it on 56K over 4 nights and it was worth it!!

To answer the query (heh) about the plot of the episode, Hal was jobless, and helped get one of the bodybuilder's keys from a drain using a stick and bubble gum. They were worshipping him since he was so smart. So the ended up following him around like a bunch of puppies for the rest of the episode.

Looks like the "copyright knights in shiny armor" came and 'slay' the site. Still, there's OTHER sites... But it's not even safe to post it! They might come and 'slay' me! Try google... type torrent and search and hit "I'm feeling lucky"... Good luck. It makes me laugh to see those buff guys pull the car...lol

As enjoyable as it was to see all that muscle on one television show, it's a shame that the writers at "Malcom" -- a show that I enjoy very much by the way -- chose to perpetuate the stereotype of the "dumb jock."

Honestly... I love it. The more people I can impress and shock when I tell them what I do for a living... the more it makes me feel like I'm special and unique for being in some kind of muscular shape AND being reasonably intelligent. Busting down stereotypes is fun

I got sick of Malcom after about 6 episodes, and I rarely watch fox anymore. However, I too am sick of this stereo-type. This label is designed to make little people feel better about themselves at the expense of others. I think it's negative, and wrong. I think that if you have the discipline & patience to build a great body, then you probably have the discipline & patients to build a great mind too.

Cool

Hey, guys. Fox aired the full episode of the muscle men "Malcolm in the Middle" this past Sunday night (December 26). I recorded it on video, but I don't have the electronics to transfer it to my computer. I am willing to mail my copy to anybody. (All though, I realize, giving out an address could be dicey). But if you have a P.O. Box, I would be willing to send it there for free! Just let me know. (I'll send it to the first request...)
