the following appears in the media:

Because I am not a huge fan of turkey, I will probably be having:

150g of macaroni
75g of low fat soft cheese
20g (1 slice) cheese
20g breadcrumbs

which comes to around 300 cals.

Let's just say that there are small villages that do not eat as much as I do during the holidays. For me its the offseason and its time to gain weight, so I put Kobayashi to shame.

When you realize you'll be fighting for space at the gym in a couple weeks as all the New Year's resolutions drive the hoards to "work out." It lasts about a month. For that month, you budget an extra half-hour per workout.

I am NOT looking forward to that. It gets really bad at my gym.

That's why I like going in at 8-8:30 pm, the afterwork/Resilution crowds are usually gone by then

I have alrady shifted by workout time to later in the evening. My gym is wall-to-wall people from 5pm to 8pm but clears out. Went last night at 830pm and only about five of us in the weight area

We are lucky that our gym is really a hardcore gym for heavy lifting, so we do not get a big influx of the New Years resolution folks. I find myself spending more time in the gym mainly because I know that I am also spending more time at the table so I have to work out with more intensity.
