Here's a holler to say I'm new to the group and will appreciate being shown the ropes and given a clue how to participate.

Hi there,

I was new only a few weeks back so am a semi-newbie. Have a look around and see what has been written - there are a few good regulars here like Brent and ethernet I think. Lots of good morph pics and stories if u like that sort of thing.

Start a thread urself on whatever interests u muscle wise and see what the response is.

Tell us a little about urself - do u lift? how big/stats are u? What do u dig about muscle/built men?

Welcome!

Welcome pole9plus!

Welcome Nick, it's always great to see a new member here. If your pic is of you, then congratulations on your progress! Sorry I haven't responded to this post earlier, but I've been really sick this week.

woah! I get "regular" status?!?

hehe.... welcome to the board pole9plus. My favorite way to keep up is just to visit once or twice/day and click the "show new posts since last visit" link under "quicklinks" and sort through that way to follow multiple threads. This usually only takes me about 10-15 minutes because I only cilck on subject lines in forums that I want to read.

I second Brent's remark on your picture.... think YOU could probably teach ME a few things about training!

Welcome...

As people have pointed out, how to participate depends on how you want to participate. I like to write stories (though I'm a bad author right now and have to get back to the story I was working on -- just too busy at work). Recently, the bboard has become more of a chat forum for some.

If you want to chat, why not tell us a bit about yourself? How did you find the forum? What do you like about it (or dislike about it)?

Scott

Welcome aboard mate!
One way of participating is to respond to the threads, but we try to keep it at least roughly on the subject of the title. (I am probably guilty of sliding into different subjects, but hey it happens!) Also we try to avoid bringing in copyrighted pics to avoid legal problems. Flexodus is the webmaster if you have problems.
Other than that, just pull your shoes off and make yourself at home! and don't forget to use a coaster when you put your beer down

We yinzers(*) that went to 'Tech wouldn't be caught dead with the dredge that is Iron City. It's Rolling Rock or nothing. Besides, every 'burgher knows that the Steelers training camp is in Latrobe (home of the Rock!).

(*) the way Pittsburghers say this word is very neighborhood specific, and I believe yu'unz is more North Side than eastern suburbs where I'm from.

Go Steelers!

English is in need of a second-person plural. I'm told by my linguist friends this particular Pittsburghese derives from the Scotish. I know yinz folks talk funny, but I'm sure we all agree that about the superiority of all Scotts everywhere

As any person from the deep south will tell y'all, we have no need for another form of the 2nd person plural. Y'all understand? Start trying to introduce another one and y'all are in trouble!

The south has been quite happy with our form of 2nd person plural for many many generations. We'll thank y'all for not trying to kill it or replace it.

Great pic, by the way. Muy caliente.

Tell us your stats? Taking up the duties and responsibilities of a lust object (see attached list) is a great way to get involved in the group.

I suppose everyone knows that "you" was the plural and "thou" was the singular once upon a time. Of course, in my adopted hometown, there is even a plural plural, "ally'all". In Houston one is "you", two are "y'all" and three or more are "ally'all".

Is that like how "Ye" as in "Ye Olde Shoppe" is pronounced "The"?

Cool what is the topic

Brent, I think the original topic was "Just Nick", er, pole9plus. The linguistic stuff is just thread-drift...

Scott, who hopes Just Nick can get us back on the original topic at some point...
