Question pill that makes you taller

i didn't put this in the other threads because it doesn't really have to do with musclegrowth. but apparently this stuff can make you taller. have any of you heard of it?

http://www.heightmax.com/maximise.htm

i'm apparently a little too old for it (being 27), but my brother might benefit from it.

I didn't check out the price but if it's much more than good quality vitamins, it's a scam.

Eat healthy, exercise well, keep a good posture and nature will take it's course. Do they tell you what's in it? Do they tell you how much of each ingredient. Do they show any PROOF that they are the answer?

Even if they do, is there ANYTHING in their product that you couldn't get from healthy eating or existing PROVEN vitamins, minerals and supplements from trustworthy companies? Are their claims legit, or is it pseudo science?

This has "got us another sucker" written all over it.

Advertising marketers take advantage of the "Wizard's first rule: People are stupid. They'll believe anything they want to believe or are afraid might be true."

There are correlations between proper nutrition and maximum height, but taking pills for a couple of years isn't going to make much of a difference.

Proper nutrition from infancy through puberty and into adult may make a difference of several inches. Witness the change in average height of people through the last century. Also witness that since the US is now a mostly junk food country, the average height has been decreasing for the last few decades.

Popping pills isn't the answer. Complete life style and life history is the answer.

Sorry, no shortcut. The only winners in this game would be the people trying to sell growth pills. They'd be laughing all the way to the bank.
