So I've just started working out seriously, and I was wondering if someone could give me some advice as what to eat and when. I can't work out if I have recently eaten, because it ends up making me feel cramped and sluggish, but maybe that's because of what I'm eating?

How do you guys do it? Usually I drink a lot of water after eating, and work out about two or three hours later, then eat when I'm done.
