darth maul star wars ep 1

perhaps I am strange, (well no secret there)... but I always thought that Darth Maul from Star Wars EP 1 was 'Intriguing".... finally looked him up on the web.
His name is Ray Park. Here he is without the evil make-up

here's a link to an interview as well.

wow, who knew such a hottie existed beneath all the makeup. see, if they let him go around just like that, Episode One would have been such a better movie. Better than JarJar Binks, in any case

The makeup is fine, but it would be nice if he had taken off his clothes in that final battle scene.

I believe he also played the Toad character in the first X-Men movie.

He ought to be having a bang up career in action movies but for some reason he's disappeared. But there's still hope that his big starring role in "Iron Fist" will come soon.

Two of his biggest roles -- Toad and Darth Maul -- have required make-up, but if you want to see him without, work up the courage to rent "Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever" with Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu. Park is the villain, and his acting is, to say the least, comatose. Good-lookin' guy, but hardly Laurence Olivier.
