| Facebook renaming drive Hi So I would like to create a petition, to get them to change Facebook's name to something that is a little more relevant... Dont you think they should rather call it Farmvillebook?     |

| The name facebook goes back to it's roots. At Harvard, all students live on campus and everyone is divided into houses (each house has several dorms, a cafeteria, commons, often a gym, a bar, etc). Your social life pretty mch revolves around your house. We used to get a book at the beginning of each year that listed every person in the house and would give you a short bio in them and list their concentration, clubs, etc. Basically, if you're in the cafeteria having lunch and see a hot guy, yo could flip through your facebook till you found him, then you'd know who it was. Facebook started as the online version of that facebook. __________________ Quit jerking off and morph yourself for a change! |
