I'm still in the closet so, believe it or not, this is the only place I get to talk to other gay folks and openly lust after men. Pictures and stories are nice but decent people are the best. (Especially people who can spell 'you' correctly.)

I'll admit, I'm not adverse to the stories, and heaven forbid, the pictures but reading the regulars posts about training and just the general banter is what keeps me reading...

Being a lurker for a long time, now starting to post, I have to say it is the since of like minded individuals. The stories and pictures motivate, but it is the group of guys here interested in getting bigger that keeps me comming back on a daily basis.

saying that, I'd meant to post about this soon anyway, but does anyone know of any other forums that is more like talking about gay issues, etc and not really focused on muscle growth and stories? I think it'd be great if I could connect with people on a different level than I do here as I come to terms with who I am

ok, enough with the serious sap...I do love the stories and characters on this forum. you guys (and the stories) never leave me bored. I'm glad this corner of the interweb exists.

In the blogosphere, go to Outlet radio and their Freedom Forum. Lots of different blogs there with different perspectives that you can comment on.

soc.motss (social members of the same sex) is the usenet newsgroup where GLBT people just chat.

Gay, Bi, or Straight - this is the only place where I've ever felt like it's "ok" or "normal" to be obsessed with muscle and body building both on other people and with myself.....

Fantastic, supportive, kind, intelligent, and well-meaning people in all aspects. I couldn't say it any better.

Sure there?s the motivating pics and enormous diversity in story content, but it?s the people here, the community, that really makes it what it is. As I've posted before, I'm a graduate of Carnegie Mellon -- aka computer u. A professor of social science did a lot of research looking at behavior on the net by reading bboards, newsgroups, etc. It's a fascinating field of study with very interesting results.

Note to flexodus: as I think this poll shows, you did a good job here buddy.

It's nice that those who responded have generated an interesting spread of poll results, but umm... can 75 replies out of 5533 members be truly representative?

I'd like to see more, lots more, people reply.

I like the whole setting. I first joined this site for the stories I wanted to read, then I wrote stories myself. I love the pics and the comments of the people here. There is a couple of regulars here, not everybody joined is visiting often.

I think it?s great to be able to post stories, pics, ideas, comments or whatever and to get an answer. It?s really helpfull sometimes to know that there are other people out there who share a certain ideal of men.

I've written some of the stories, so that's what got me here originally. And the pictures, my god, some of the pictures! But I really come back for the like-minded freaks...I mean, folks!... who find the topic of muscle and growth almost endlessly fascinating. It's amazing how many times someone else's post will reflect my own thoughts about a specific thread or pic.

I first came to this site when I clicked on it from the archive wondering where it would take me, kept coming back as I saw there were newer stories on here before they went to the archive, became a member just to get into the photo galleries then one day just thought what the hell, and plunged into posting on here.

Recently I've installed Yahoo messenger and started chatting to people as well. Next thing you know I'll be writing stories and posting pictures of myself (trust me, you don't want to see that. lol)
