Starting to Get Attention

So I've been lifting for a year and working out pretty regularly for about 3 months, and it is good to see people starting to give me attention. I was wearing this sweater that clings to my arms and shoulders and when I wore it last weekend, a lot of people would sneak grabs at my arms or poke my chest, it felt really gratifying when one of my buddies exclaimed to another that I "had GUNS!" I was in my Spanish class and someone asked about a word in a short story, (the word roughly translates to well-built, big, etc) the professor asked if anyone in the room was fornido to which he pointed to me and then motioned flexing. I was embarassed but also stoked. And then today I was in my suite playing darts in a tshirt and one of my acquantainces that I hadn't seen in a while grabbed my arm and said, "Man, have you been working out?" I love working out and I'm glad people are noticing my muscles.

Nothing more fun than realizing someone has grabbed your arm in a friendly way just to have a chance to see if the muscle is real. As you know, it's that moment when a touch becomes a "squeeze." Keep hitting it up in the gym and enjoy the attention!

I've been going to the gym and have gone "hardcore" I guess with my legs...
Putting it mildly, they're my best asset.
Months of strengthening the muscles and the knees are now paying off.
People smile and comment on my legs now..
I'm very happy with this.
G.

Awesome! See hard work pays off!

Ever notice it's the arms people always notice first? Never the chest/back or legs Congrats on getting noticed for being the buff guy you are

I agree that people that don't work out only seem to notice the arms too. However, if you don't work on your chest, etc. they will call you on it.

Congratulations on the realization of all your hard work!

awesome dude!!!

That's got to be one of the BEST parts of this entire process - when someone, anyone, honestly and sincerely notices and remarks or reacts to your growth. Truly a big-ass boost!!

Cool man, congrats! It makes all that time spent in the weight room, studying supplements and organizing meals seem not so hard at all when you start to get unprovoked comments like you've described. You'll have no trouble with motivation now!

Yeah I had a similar experience last night at a housewarming party.
I saw a guy I haven't seen since school ended 3 years ago, and the whole night I kept catching him staring at my chest.
I'm not huge by any means, but everyone at school remembers me as the beanpole, and now I have about 10kg more muscle on me, and I was wearing a tightish polo shirt so it was pretty noticable that I've put on some size.
He, on the other hand, looks like he's a lot skinnier now strangely. Like he's lost the muscle he had from school, I was amazed at how different he looked.
But yeah, oh and also my mum keeps saying at dinner that my arms are getting really big.. Embarrassing as hell but whatever, it still feels nice to be noticed.

I'll never forget the first time I loaded with creatine, about a week later my wife wife gave my arm a squeeze when we were in bed and the lights out.

And then she squeezed again and again just to be sure it was real and she said "Oh my God, you're getting scary!"

I was at an audition a few weeks back and went in wearing a sweater over my shirt cause I had spilled something on it so I wanted to hide it.

I didn't realize exactly how much bigger I'd gotten until I went into the audition room, and I was standing beside the two other auditioners...
I looked down at my body and looked at theirs.
They were skinny.
It was a funny moment.
Compared to them, I was huge.
I didn't get the gig, as I think they were going for someone smaller, but hell I felt good!
