Rrr--nope. He doesn't do it for me. Great casting though. Michael Chiklis for The Thing and the fellow playing Doctor Doom seem like the only good casting choices.

I agree with Yachirobi about the poor casting choices. The brother/sister pair look like they're barely out of high school -- even Reed Richards, the supposedly 'mature' scientist looks like he's 26 at most with the greyed temples.

Do we really need another super-hero origin movie?

Personaly I dont like the guy that is playing The Thing. And I will admit that the fact that the brother is not a Blonde like in the Comic Book does bug me a bit. But I will still watch it.

She's overrated. Now if they'd gotten Cameron Diaz...

(A website devoted to lusting after male body builders and we're talking about chicks dressed as superheroes. Weird.)

Interesting twist this thread's taken. I wasn't looking for critique of the movie and actors. I originally posted simply because of the pun I could make about "The Thing" being "a hard man".

That's OK, this site is a little twisted anyway and so am I.

Okay, let's get back to business. Does Michael Chiklis need that Thing make-up? He's looking like a brick house already. If he was built like that on The Commish the show would have lasted longer.

(And Cameron Diaz is hot.)

Actually, I never heard of any of these people before. That's OK, how many of you ever heard of Kate Smith? (totally unrelated, don't bother looking it up)

I'm fascinated with fullbody costume suits. What kind of parties go on at the studios where they make this stuff? Don't tell me, I'd rather fantasize.

Yeah, slip into a costume like that, and somehow get transformed, body, mind, and soul. Sounds like a storyline to me.

I don't think the movie will be a block buster but for me I'll have to add it to my list of "must see", just to scratch my fetish a little.

Hear, hear! Talk about a real-life muscle growth. As for other actors, I wouldn't mind seeing King of Queens' Kevin James getting big, buff, and bear-ish himself.

Yeah. We have all of these big guy stars who would really look incredible if they'd change some of that fat into muscle. Not all of it, mind you. Just a 50/50 combo to please muscleheads and chubby chasers.

Aw, hell, just put 'em all on stacker and force them on a heavy weightlifting routine. Then you'll have Must See TV.

Naw, man, Cameron Diaz doesn't do it for me. Too cute and cuddly to be a superhero...they should've gone with Rachel McAdams instead of Jessica Alba. She played Regina George in Mean Girls and is SO HOT. I could see her kicking some butt, too.

I applaud the filmmakers for actually putting Michael Chiklis in make-up, instead of going full-on CGI. Bravo!

I'm still waiting for that mainstream movie that will put actors and actresses into bodypaint and speedos for their superhero "costumes", then they'd really look like how the characters are originally drawn. Ah, if only more of the cuter WWE wrestlers can act.

It happened. Mystique in the X-men movies had very little costume to her costume--mostly paint & scales.

Scales... not exactly my idea of 'sexy'... even on a woman, but you're definitely right. She qualifies.

I was thinking more of upcoming Superman Brandon Routh wearing a red speedo, boots and cape and having the "S" literally painted on his chest.

Weird site!!!

Poor Dr. Lavender. How does this malady start? Hardening of the arteries or kidney stones?
