He was sent on a mission. The church told him that God wanted him to spread the good news. The locals told him to get lost. His brothers told him he wasn?t doing enough, He told himself that it would all pass, that he would get through it. And something else inside told him that it was all wrong.


And then the ocean spoke.

He didn?t even bother to take his clothes off when he ran into the waves.



But then he felt it. The power of the ocean didn?t drag him to his death. It surged into his body, filling the emptiness he felt inside. And then he looked at his skinny arms and saw that they were being filled too. Strength! Power! It was his now. The ocean was giving him it?s power. GOD was giving him power. It had to be God.


All that he heard was ?You have been chosen" as the energy rushed into his body. He tore through his clothing, knowing he wouldn?t need them anymore. They were the skin of his old life. A new one was beginning. His new mission, his new purpose, was unclear, but the ocean was still speaking, still calling him forward. He obeyed. It was God?s will.
