Before or after training? My three supps are protein, creatine monohydrate and glutamine. I drink a protein shake both before and after my workout. For the "before" shake, I include creatine. Should the glutamine be mixed in with my "after" shake? Or does it matter? And more generally, what do people think of the before/after scheme I've got going on here? Thanks to all who respond. |

I should add, the protein I take before & after is the same and it's whey based and zero carb. In addition I eat 4 hard boiled egg whites and a bowl of oatmeal as part of my "before" routine. Gives me lots of energy! It's the "after" routine I'm still adjusting..... |

Before has been shown to be even more important and effectiv than after, but of course 'both' is even better. As for Glutamine, I've seen it recommended to be added to the 'during' drink.
