| Muscleman in 1950 film "Breakthrough" Does anyone remember or happen to have pics of the muscleman in the 1950 war movie "Breakthrough"? I have him burnt into my brain, but can't find any pics or clips of him. There is a GREAT scene with his shirtless torso that shows off this Body of a God that is bound to cause seizures for those observing. As long as I am asking, what about Edson Stroll of "McHale's Navy"? I have a few pics myself, but don't know how to upload. If anyone cares to have me send them...I'll gladly do that, so that they can be posted. I do have some good stuff, I think. Thanks!     |

| Edson Stroll must have been the guy who played Virgil. That guy had a sizzling build, and was way under used on that show! |

| Yep, Edson was a hottie (although I'll be DAMNED if you can find good pix of him from back in the day.) He's still around, y'know, mid to late 70's. I think he does the SF convention circuit. rpj |

| One of the hottest moments for me was in an episode where Virgil was asked by McHale to distract one of the Navy nurses (so McHale could do a little mischief). Virgil started laying it on thick with with nurse....finally saying"....I've got a cramp in my arm...can you massage it for me?"...as he flexes his huge and shapely biceps again and again. Needless to say, the nurse was successfully distracted....and I got a tent in my adolescent pants. heh heh heh |

| Breakthrough I have that film on VHS. If you'd like I can send it to you to copy. I too love the scene where he's going through a simple workout routine and this French woman is trying real hard to distract him, but he doesn't care about her. She forces a kiss and he goes running out of the room and almost jumps into a large water fountain in the town square. The man is beautiful. Atomic Muscle even did a couple of his trademark morphs of him. |
